Title: National Guard Confiscates guns in Oklahoma?
Post by: securitysix on May 22, 2013, 08:00:17 pm
I put this in the Oathkeepers forum because it seems like something the Oathkeepers would want to know about and get on top of:

National Guard and Local Law Enforcement confiscating guns after tornado in Moore:

Have you by chance mentioned it over on the OK Forum?
IF not I will pass it along.

A year ago maybe two  Oklahoma passed a law that was suposed to  prevent that.

Looks like they choose which they  want to follow, maybe I am the same way.

Default Re: Firearm Confiscation In Moore

Coworkers Brother in law has recovered his stuff.

Thank you for the article with the report about the law.

As for more information, if it was me I might give my info. As it is someone else no personal info is forthcoming. It does not bother me if some dont believe this since this is the internet. If the moderator wishes to delete this thread that is fine too, as the matter is resolved.

SOooo it appears that the crisis is over except for the ... lawsuits.
Even if I got my firearms back I would be suing the officers involved personally and the units with which they are associated.

WARNING  personal opinion follows:
The best way to see that all LEO's get the message is to "hang" [figuratively not literally] the first three or four and when the remaining unit members see that a violation can mean loss of job, pension and or jail time they will quit doing that garbage.

YMMV

I got the info from OKShooters.com, which is an Oklahoma gun forum.  I haven't posted it on the OKHTF on ARFcom or seen it posted there.  Not surprising since the OKHTF and OKShooters tend to have issues with eachother and crossposting from one to the other.

I'd think folks need to get the word out, especially in the times we live in now & not worry about cross posting.

Moral of the story is keep  your gun biz to your own self, or at least don't let the law get the scent.

I was actually referring to the Oath Keepers Forum HERE (http://www.oathkeepers.net/forum/).

Also keep in mind there was No Corroboration of the story and that it has been posted [by the OP] that the situation has been resolved.

Yep in spades.
If you don't know everyone in the room keep your yap shut.
