"Oklahoma joins Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Vermont as the 15th state to declare the Second Amendment as an individual’s carry permit." (from the article)
Okla, Mo, Ark and Kansas make a pretty large geographical area of freedom, at least concerning concealed carry. Not compared to Idaho, N and S Dakota and Wyoming in land mass but probably greater in population? Now, if we could just get Montana and Nebraska in there, it would be a pretty large contiguous area. I don't believe there is any hope for Colorado.

Montana is mostly there. Constitutional carry is the law outside of municipalities that require permits. Of course, it would be good to get those, too.

the new governor in MAINE is trying to put the anti-gun former Portland Police chief Michael Sauschic in charge of Dept. of Public Safety..../ that would be very bad for all legal gun owners in this state...../ he would be in charge of State Police....the major issuing authority for permits for those that continue to seek them & I see him trying to over-turn constitutional carry here....

I live in OK, I am thrilled that the law was passed, just annoyed we have to wait 'til Nov.

I know that feeling. Here in MO. we had to wait for what seemed like a loong time, after the Gov. signed it. Seems most natural now. Wouldn't think of not carrying.
