I posted that there are 30 counties in Wyoming. There are 24 counties in the state. Nine of them are along two interstates. And most of us can't aford to live in Teton county.

It is true that WY has no state income tax that's because they have other ways to steal your money i.e. traffic tickets. In the year 2000 over 100,000 misdemeanor counts were seen to go thru Wyoming District Courts. Over 6.8 million dollars was collected mostly from traffic tickets and the money was all used for the ever worthless public schools of Wyoming. (The Equality State, Government & Politics in Wyoming. Put out by the University of Wyoming Poli-sci Dept.)They are proud of this crap. Only 500,000 people live here and so that would mean you will be getting a traffic ticket at least once a year to the tune of about $75. I've been stopped four times in the past five years in WY and have recieved two tickets. Prior to this I hadn't been stopped in over five years.

I know man who is an ex-copster and he told me that when he was a copster he use to work with the HP and a patrolman told him an interesting story. The HP guy in question was told by his stuperior to write more tickets and he told his stuperior that no one was breaking the law. His stuperior responded by telling the patrolman that he didn't care about that he wanted to see more revenue coming in and that the trooper should stop motorists even when they aren't breaking the law and write them a ticket anyway.

The story I heard about why Wyoming has no state income tax is that they don't need it because they make so much money from mineral excise taxes from all the coal and uranium that ships out of the state. But that was 20 years ago. May have changed.

The state has a 2 billion dollar surplus. They must be over taxing the people of Wyoming to have this kind of surplus.

What would be the point in moving? In general it is no different here than any where else. Any where you go you will find out that any place has its set of problems. I'm from the area my family has been in this area for over hundred years there is no place else for me to go.

Why do you ask? Are you a copster? Do you need me instead of Claire to lead you? Why do you even need a leader?

"4. I think the above mentioned shit yer in is ...............................mostly ......................... if not all ................. is ............................ yours."

The shit I'm in is called the USSA and it is shit I never created. I didn't create the shit police state of Wyoming the state did this. I'm not have any problems with my neighborsif this is what you mean. I find the best way to deal with neighbors is don't deal with them at all or live and let live as long as they don't encroach upon my property rights.

One guy here is a wannabe copster and cop lover because his daughter is a forest ranger. He likes to play undercover brother and I saw him rat on a local over some issues that were of no concern to him. I was working at the local truck stop and saw the snitch have a sit down meeting with both the local HP and Deputy to rat on some black kid who did nothing to him. What a dumbass, it never occured to him that he was exposing his true colors and now many other locals now know that he is a snitch. I just ingore the guy and move on. You're gonna find these sorts of people no matter were you live so you learn to deal with them by avoiding them. His wife walks buy my house on a regualr basis just to check on the kind of car I am driving and to see if I still live there.

BS answers, but they are exactly what I thought he'd give.  :bs: :bs: :bs: :bs: :bs: and more  :bs:

Evanston awaits him.

For those who don't understand my "Evanston" reference ........................ Evanston is where the state mental hospital is located. It's where they send the insane.

I used ta think I was radical. I've often been told I was, but dudes like this make me appear to be a flaiming ass leftest liberal  :puke:
Therefor, I must be doing SOMETHING RIGHT!

Umm interesting that this hypocrite and left wing nazi supports sending people to a state run mental health hospital. And yet another reason not to move to Wyoming. I'll bet he lives in Riverton, which the home of one of those neo-nazi Identity churches.

He appears to support the socialist tactics of the WY HP as well. Yea just keep your head in the sand and ignore the fact that WY steals money from people by writting bogus traffic tickets to support the states socialist school system.

Most of the Wyomig cities located along I-80 have some kind of socialist bent that keeps these cites on the constant dole. Evanston with its state run mental health hospital, Rawlins with its big state prison which employes most of the community there, Laramie with is state run University and this place is also a main employer of this town and Cheyenne with its Air Force base and State HQ. The largest employer in Cheyenne is the fed and the second largest employer of people is the state of Wyoming.

If this clown hunts then he supports socialism. The state issues the hunting lisences, because according to the state they own and care for the animals. The money he pays for the hunting lisence is just another tax on food. Yellowstone is a joke "Look but don't touch or get out of the car.". These fucking animals have more rights than us humans do here in Wyoming. Kill one of the Kings deer out of season and they send you to prison. If  you are not a resident of Wyoing and lie on a hunting lisence application aout your residency status they willsend you to hotel Rawlins. If the deer or elk end up on your property and you kill one them you will go to prison. What kinda guy who cliams to support freedom would support this kinda of crap? A guy named hunter10359.

Close...

Wyoming ( and all of the other petroleum severance tax states ) are having a budget surplus caused by the price of crude going up past $70 a barrel.

Against individual residents, the state has a sales tax, and a very low property tax.

I agree that the taxes there are still too high ... with a surplus like that, the sales tax should be repealed. Just another thing for liberty minded folks in WY to work towards. Less money for the State to spend means less money for them to screw us with ...

Wyoming has had a 2 billion dollar surplus for some time now, prior to price of crude oil going up.

The state legislatures dipped into the reserves this past winter to assist the welfare types as heating bills double this past winter. Another downside to living in northern state is the high cost heat bills. I averaged $200 a month for about four months and during the summer I only paid $18 a month. Coal is hard to find unless you live in the right area of Wyoming.

A bill was passed to abolish sales tax on food and it was introduced by Dummycrap no less. The Guv and the repukelicans screamed bloddy murder and at first it look like this tax would be with us for a long time. I'm not sure what happen or when the non-tax of food goes into effect it has yet to happen.

Sales taxes vary around the state. Cheyenne is at about 6.5% while  Pine Bluffs has nada but then Pline Blufffs has nada of anything to purchase. I think Riverton is at 5%. I think the state gets a cut along with these cities.

Wyoming gets .04% the cities can levy an additional .01%. I'm not sure where the addotional 1/2% Cheyenne has comes from, possibly a county add on, I'll find out.

Since Hunter10359 won't behave himself, and posted direct, personal insults and taunts knowing that they would provoke Duncan, this thread is now locked before things degenerate into a total flame war.

Hunter10359, one more post like that and you'll be booted from this board.  'Nuff said.
