George it breaks my heart that you can't or won't make money on your stories. I know, it doesn't break your heart, and that's a blessing -- as long as you get plenty of joy in payment for your creations.
If you don't want the proceeds from a lulu book, then this time let them go to Bill and/or Plinker who did all the work to collect and post them. I'm grateful for any donations to TCF. But in this case, the "payoff" to me (and I'm sure to Debra) is merely having your work here.
Pagan, you began a lovely project that you sent me via snail. You know the one I mean. Much as I like what you did (and I do like it), I say put George's project first.
George is quite simply one of the greatest short-story writers alive in the country today, in any genre, and his work deserves to be seen.
George, all I want from you is an autographed copy.
