I don't know about anyone else, but whenever I take a sunset photo I wish I had a camera that would capture about ten times as much as my dinky little snapshots.

What do you mean?  I think you did a wonderful job.

Amazingly beautiful! When the cookbook's done, we should do a TCF calendar or sets of notecards. Or framed prints, or something.

There's at least one sunset in the batch I shot last night. Plus probably some more pictures to come one I do a little more processing.

Thanks! It was the result of a photowalk where none of the people I expected showed up, and a bunch I didn't expect did (including a Kirsten, who's the SO of a FOAF), so I was kind of out of sync on the socializing. Which induced me to shut up and concentrate on the camera for a while.

As for setting up the squishycow and Snowglobe Chip, it looks like Topeka, KS is about halfway between us....

The squishycow isn't legally old enough to get a driver's license, so I agree that some chaperonage is needed.

Of course if the AZ meetup firms up and I can arrange vacation, there's a chance for them to meet down in your neck of the woods....

Which is probably a lot more convenient than Kansas.

Well, the schedule in AZ sounds workable to me. I just need enough advance notice to be able to book vacation and maybe a flight and coordinate with the other folks I know down thataway.

Squishycow has not been to Chicago, either. Or you'd be quite welcome here in Mpls. Heck, I might even be done remodelling the guest bedroom/library by then. Failing that, I've got a friend who runs a "guest house" a few blocks from here.
