What should be posted here?
« on: December 01, 2006, 09:25:19 am »

Found a good doctor you'd like to recommend to others in your area?

Tried a health-care product you believe is worth recommending?

Found a useful health- or fitness-related web site?

Discovered a diet or fitness regimen that's been particularly helpful to you?

Post about it here. OR, if privacy dictates not publicly posting spefic information, post something like this, "I have found a good, privacy-respecting chiropractor in the Chicago area who gives a 40 percent discount for cash payment. Contact me via PM for details."

As always, all postings must be about lawful activities.

If you have a financial interest in the item or service you post (e.g. if you sell vitamins or receive a commission for recommending customers) you should disclose that in your posting.

Keep in mind that all postings here represent someone's OPINION. Neither the posters nor anyone connected with TCF guarantees the quality of the recommendations, products, or services posted here.

Neither TCF, its owners, administrators, or moderators make any guarantees or have any liabilties for the use or misuse of information posted here. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Claire, if you've got a few minutes, could you elaborate on what goes here vs what goes in the main Health & Fitness area?

I looked over the latest 30 thread titles in Health & Fitness, and it seems like about half of them could be considered "recommendations" if you use a broad definition.  Is that what you had in mind, or do you want a narrower meaning of "recommendations"?

Hey "who...me?" -- thanks for the heads-up on the bot. I've banned it and have removed it's intrusion. You are appreciated.

No problem sir.  I actually haven't been on for awhile as my old crappy computer finally gave up the ghost. Had to build a new one.
