I figure the thread required some visionary wild ass scheme for some fun of it.  A doubt if a reentry pod encased fruit cake would get soggy in a pool for example. Can you imagine the SPLASH however?

so is the fruitcake encased in the pod, or is the pod encased in the fruitcake?

Do we have a recipe for fruitcake somewhere here? I read lots of pages in this thread and didn't see one. Tried the search... but there are simply too many results to go through today. A new member is asking...

What say we consider another to help support the TMM since Elias is looking for funds to support his websites?
One devoted to Fruitcakes and or Cakes and baked goodies might go well?

I'm not sure, gooch. If you can find the discussion, send me a link. I've got a small book of recipes already written on bread and similar baked goods. And I've got literally thousands of other recipes here too, just needs organizing. I tried to get the folks at FSW to send me their recipes to make a fund raiser book, but got very few. If the people of TMM really want to contribute to this, I'd be happy to work on it. Just can't do it alone. If there are enough volunteers here, we can pin this project thread offshoot in the bulletin board.  It would help if someone could research the publishing side of this. We are not apt to be able to raise enough money up front to have it printed.
