Well it didn't work for me from here either. I guess I should have checked that out. We have just redone some things over there and maybe links like that are no longer allowed ? ( looks like it only works as long as I'm logged in at both forums, as you can tell I'm not very good at all this tech stuff

)
So it looks like you will have to sign up to see it all ?

Calling all Crook County people
Or here is the jist of it :
The folks at the county sent out this notice in the local paper.
" Calling all Crook County citizens
Crook County Growth and Development is calling all citizens of Crook County for help and input into the direction the county will be taking in the near future. They are organizing a committee comprised of Crook County citizens that will meet periodically and brainstorm on the issues of things such as development, septic tanks, zoning, and other growth issues. Fred Duncan of Growth and Development says its essential citizens provide their two-cents by joining the committee. “We’re hoping to get people from all walks of life who want to have a say in how things are carried out with our new comprehensive growth plan we will be implementing sometime next year,” Duncan said Monday. “Ranchers, teachers, and all other Crook County citizens are urged to join.”
This committee is on a volunteer basis and Duncan says he plans on visiting all parts of the county at least once a month so the committee members don’t have to come to him. “It’s nice to get out of the office every once in a while anyway,” Duncan said. “This committee will have a significant influence on the direction the county will be taking.”
Duncan says the committee can meet in person, by phone, or through e-mail. He said a person only needs a computer or a telephone to be a part of the committee. Duncan will be glad to hear ideas, concerns, and suggestions from the citizens.
The citizens of Crook County often have many thoughts on issues dealing with growth and development and the Growth and Development office is ready and listening. The first meeting will be held January 9, 2007 in the basement of the courthouse and is open to the public. Here’s your chance to be a part of your county development. Remember, if you don’t have anything to say about it now, you can’t say anything about it later.
Citizens are encouraged to contact Fred Duncan or Tim Lyons for further information at the Growth and Development office at 307-283-4548, send them a fax at 307-283-4549, or e-mail them at
fredd@crookcounty.wy.gov. Get out there and support your local growth and development."
Several of our members started a thread about going to the meeting, gathering support from others outside the FSW and handing out leaflets. The turnout was good and not expected by the government folks. And since things didn’t go as planned for the statists they weren’t happy. After the meeting one of the FSW folks was even told his home might blow up.
Here is how the local paper covered the story but much was left out.
