Silly goose. You still have all the rights you are willing to die for.

The United States Supreme court has finally nullified every one of the
Bill of Rights amendments through judicial fiat. The destruction of rule
of law in the US is now complete.
Very well said. Excellent and valuable post.

Salute!

Excellent article at Reason explaining why this ruling sucks sucks for innocent citizen.

The key point is that in a free society, the criminal laws are supposed to be clear so that citizens will know what conduct is prohibited. With the Hiibel ruling, the Supreme Court has created a situation where ordinary Americans cannot be sure if they are invoking their constitutionally-guaranteed rights or whether they are committing a crime. If that is not a travesty for American justice, what is?

I'd imagine that a cop asking for my name would warrant the same three possible responses my momma taught me for a nosy, invasive, personal question i don't wanna answer. 1 tell the questioner that ain't their business, 2 don't say anything, or 3, lie like a cheap rug :D and i do believe i'll use #3, just as i always do

The really funny thing is when they ask you to spell your name it would look very
much like computer code. I wonder what would happen if your name was correctly
given but in a language that the police couldn't "understand"? Whose fault would
that be?   Might as well be creative, not that it matters much. Soon enough there
will be AFIDS in every squad car so enjoy it while you can. :(

While they did rule that you have no constitutional right to not give your name,

No, that's not what they ruled.

There are exceptions.

That's very interesting.  Do you have a link to where they say that in their decision?
