Robot Chicken

Does anyone else watch this cartoon on the cartoon network?

There is no entertainment section so I hope this is the section for this thread.

On behalf of myself only, since I can only really speak for myself (no one has authorized otherwise :D ), I accept.

I will let stand what I have written in other threads though; I am always loathe to edit what I've written unless it's for typos or postscripts.

Please, if I may speak...

I like Robot Chicken for the same reason I enjoy South Park. They'll skewer everyone, regardless of sociopolitical status.

Thank you for allowing my humble post...

Wow, thanks for the reversal. I am actually VERY happy to see this is still here to discuss.

I enjoy it not just because they go after everything, but I also enjoy seeing toys I played with and cartoons I watched as a kid being parodied. The one making fun of He-man was one of my favorites.

As Velojym said, I too enjoy South Park and even Family Guy for the same reasons. I also liked Simpsons in their earlier years as it was very funny and was my favorite, but has since lost it's way big time.

I can't be listening to news and doom and gloom all day, which is why in the evenings I like to watch mindless tv shows as a nice break.

I really like all kinds of music so I watched the first 4 seasons of Idol. 4 was the absolute best one and had the most talent (Carrie Underwood, Bo, Bice were the finalists) The season after that blew and I didn't watch all of it, and I barely watched this year and that was only if nothing else was going on. My kids really liked it but too bad. It just isn't about talent. Now Rock star INXS was really good as far as talent.

I don't watch any of the Big Brother stuff.

I've never watched those. I keep missing Morel Orel, only seen it once and I was half asleep at the time.

You know you can go to the adult swim website and watch some episodes, for free too.  They change the ones on the site every week or so.

I don't like robot chicken that much.  It's ok but not great.  I like a lot of their other shows though, such as Squidbillies, The Venture Brothers, Stroker and Hoop, Harvey Birdman, Futurama (best cartoon ever).  There are others but those are the ones that come to mind.

Actually, Moral Orel is a show that portrays exactly how liberal atheists think conservative Christians act and think. That it makes the liberal atheist viewpoint look shallow, hysterical and ridiculous is the best part of the humor.

And it has nothing to do with Catholocism. It actually portrays the denizens of Moralton, Statesota (heh) as anti-Catholic.
