Seasonal Strategies for Living in Montana or other Free State

Many people currently live in Montana for part of the year and elsewhere the rest of the year.  As long as you establish legal residency for purposes of voting to enhance freedom, it doesn't really matter where you live the rest of the time.  In fact, it doesn't necessarily matter (depending on your sense of strategy or propriety) if you even intend to vote, because we want you here in any case:  Doing your thing, helping us change the political culture, serving as a good example and as a good neighbor.

Specifically:  Many people live in Montana from March or April through November, then take their motorhome or travel trailer on the road to warmer climes in the late Fall and stay 'till sometime in the Spring.  Or they move to their condo in Hawaii for the Winter.  Others (those who live here for the world class skiing), live here in the Winter and early Spring and spend the rest of the year following other interests elsewhere.

Obviously whether you can do this will depend on your particular circumstances.

There are fishing guides and outfitters who spend the Summer here in Montana guiding clients to some of the finest fly fishing for trout in North America, then perhaps guide hunters in the Fall.  Then they move to the Bahamas for bonefishing or to Argentina to guide on their trout streams during Summer south of the equator.  Those who make their living with their computer or are otherwise not dependent on a fixed location or job, might find this a congenial way to please a skeptical mate, for instance.
