Has anyone read Boston's Safari Dreams yet?
« on: July 20, 2008, 12:57:19 pm »

I'm a Boston T Party fan, own(ed) every title in his collection of writing except for this one and I'm hesitating to buy a copy as I'd hoped he would have written the sequel to Molon Labe! not a How To on going on Safari.

Not that I'm opposed to the idea mind you, more I'm in "How To" mode at the moment and a multi thousand dollar trip to Africa to shoot Bok boks is not in the cards.

I bought a copy.
I had no plans to go on Safari either.
But, I love BTP's writting, and this didn't disappoint me.
If you hunt, or like guns/rifles, or enjoy history/geography than you will find good reading.
The point he makes is that anyone who really wants to can hunt Africa!
I still don't plan on going to Africa, but now I understand how it would be possible.
