Interesting rules that could apply to many activist groups

I ran across this on another forum and thought it was applicable here.  I don't like the idea of strict "rules", per se--I think you have to be more flexible than that, especially in today's volative political climate.  But many of the ideas in the "handbook" are hard-won.  So we (still thinking of myself as a future Montanan!) would do worse than to learn from others when feasible.

I'm going to post this to the Activism board too.

I also do not like strict rules. I would have preferred to call those "ideas" or "suggestions", yes?
