Okay, I've never had a vegetable garden.  Major lack in my preps.  My entire adult life has been lived in either west-facing 3rd floor walk-ups, or in RV's.  But I'm hoping that we'll be in a position to start practicing some garden skills someday soon.  My lack of experience means I can't really evaluate the links below, but they look like an interesting place to start for the newbie.  There's tons more links if you google "garden plans" or "how to plan a garden" or any similar phrase.

In an effort to be at least a little helpful on a thread that I started ....
[With copious thanks to nomads2 for making this thread a success.... it got stickyed !]

Here are a few links to sites that offer programming or software to help repair or replace software on most Windows machines.

TechGuy

and the Forum there.

Then there is PC Hell.

CKnow is about learning about computers.

I'll try to find the time to be more helpful here.

I stickied the thread... is a Good Thing.

As well though, I mention here our Wiki ([wiki]Table of Contents[/wiki]).

It seems that is the place for semi-permanent "stuff"... Lists ...
Link Lists (Blogs, Orgs, Forums, FreePubs, Sites, WikiWiki)

It's not real hard to post links there, y'know.

If TSHTF, you may need to make creative use of items on hand.  This site has some suggestions for unusual uses for common household items, such as using sugar (and baking powder) to kill cockroaches.  Some of the ideas are frivolous, but some of them will be relevant.
