ATF pressures Tennesse
« on: July 17, 2009, 08:03:10 pm »

Looks like the ATF is picking a fight with Tennessee over the validity of HB 1796 It seems fedzilla thinks it's laws supersede state law, who cares about that little issue of the 10th amendment. This should get interesting I expect Montana and the others jumping in soon. I sure wish those fools in Austin would pass our bill soon, more states need to enact similar legislation.

Montana HB 246

Alaska HB 186

Texas HB 1863

HB 1796
SB 1610

South Carolina S. 794

ATF Letter

"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. "

Thomas Paine, the American Crisis, No. 1, December 19, 1776

It'll be interesting to see if, in TN, the county sheriff's and their sworn deputies will have what it takes to make a stand, if necessary, against any ATF forces who might try and use force.  It will be equally interesting ( or more so ) to see if the people of TN have the fortitude to stand with the Sheriff's department in defense of their county businesses and against any illegal imposition from ATF ( or related ) forces.
