Well Done Elias.
And Joan and all the rest of the Patriots of the Gallatin Valley and its newest REAL newspaper.

I look forward to reading my copy when it arrives.

Well Done indeed.

Thanks, Mon. You've seen some of it before, lol.

BTW  Is there a link to the Big Sky so I could get a chance [maybe] of seeing some of the photos they published ?

Mom always thought I'd wind up on the Police Blotter page. Bless her Heart.

Say Hey to All up yonder.

Capt.Gooch - the Big Sky Weekly has a site, but doesn't publish pics there. Some ads and sometimes a pic taken by the owner, Faith.

Faith shot the pic of the eagle which now sits on the front page of the GV Patriot. I sent you a copy of Big Sky Weekly's July 10, 2009 issue, in which you'll see your mug a time or two. There is one picture of the front of the parade down Main Street in which Joan, self, dlvrme, yourself, Shorty Dawkins, and Stewart are all strutting up the street with the Oath Keepers marching banner. You should have your package by the end of this week.
Salute!

I've been hearing good things from the population at large about the GV Patriot. Folks like it. Several have said, "Finally, a decent paper." Keep up the good work, gang.

I got my copy yesterday (thanks, Elias!) and really enjoyed it.  It hearkens back to the days when it took more than a sixth-grade reading level and comprehensive knowledge of pop culture to understand a newspaper.  A breath of fresh air.

Congrats to Elias, Basil, and the rest of the gang who has worked so hard on this project.  And I'm sending energy to y'all so you can keep it going!

Glad you got your copy, freewoman. Thank you for a good comment - it is for readers, not for headline collectors and 3-second-soundbite serfs, lol.
But I'm definitely getting feedback saying I should shorten my stuff - which I'm sure surprises no one here at TMM, lol.  Except for my lengthy screeds, I think most other articles represent the voices of our people in tastefully-brief articles.
Next month's issue will be much tighter, and will have fewer "glitches", and I'm sure that we'll have that article by Lt.Col. Karen Kwiatkowski on the 9/11 Commission report. (Can't believe that one got cut at the last minute before printing!) Also we're going to begin running Ron Paul articles, and, hopefully, a piece from a new contributer, book author and journalist Anton Chaitkin - I'm awaiting his permissions.

So if you liked this issue, I trust you'll like next month's issue even more - although it's difficult for me to imagine finding a cover photo as good as the one on this issue - that's the best photo of an Eagle I've ever seen. Faith said she shot that pic on Jack Rabbit Rd. south of Gallatin Gateway. I think it was the perfect photo for the cover of the first issue.

Salute!

Elias --

If you're ever short of material or need someone to fill in, don't hesitate to let me know. I've never really attempted to 'write to order' but -- so long as the subject resonated with me -- I'm fairly certain I could do it. Gratis, of course. :)

In addition, please feel free to reprint anything I've posted here or on the internet if you so desire. You never know when you might come up short or have an article fall through due to circumstances beyond the writer's control.

Heh! What a nice surprise - I'd love to have a piece by you. I would not even think about asking you to "write to order" - I would much rather publish something you just wanted to say, y'kno'? You're too good a creative writer. And you're too good a "seer" to have anyone direct your focus. So I'd love to have something you felt you'd like to send, but will not ask you to do a "topic". I'm grateful for your offer. Nice!

I'm grateful. I'll look around here to see what I may find, and get back with you via PM. It would be really cool to run one of your pieces. Thanks, Mon!

I've added these names and the following texts to the thread-opening post on page one, but will post them again here as a bump for the thread.
~
We now have permission to print articles by Anton Chaitkin, author and investigative journalist for the Executive Intelligence Review. I've personally used Anton's writings for years in my research of America's hidden history, so I'm honored to have his permissions. Anton co-authored George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography with Webster G. Tarpley.

A great resource book by Anton Chaitkin is Treason In America: From Aaron Burr to Averell Harriman, copyright 1984,1985 by New Benjamin Franklin House; copyright 1998 by Executive Intelligence Review. ISBN: 0-943235-00-6

I'm pleased to add the name of Vin Suprynowicz, syndicated columnist and author. Enjoy his site please. http://www.vinsuprynowicz.com/
About Vin - http://www.vinsuprynowicz.com/?page_id=2

I met Vin at a Liberty Round Table conclave near Bozeman, Montana, in 2003 when about forty liberty fighters camped in an Aspen grove at the foot of the Bridger Range. I've collected two of his books - Send In The Waco Killers and The Ballad of Carl Drega. I look forward to getting my copy of his novel, The Black Arrow. (Yes, I know - I'm the only one here who hasn't already read that one!)

I'm grateful to both Anton and Vin for granting permissions. Thanks, Gentlemen.

Salute!

Adding another new writer now. Our newest writer is a lady lawyer named M. Cris Armenta, who recently moved to Montana from California. She is an investigative attorney who has a keen talent for sniffing out government conspiracies. Cris is also an excellent writer with a brisk, hard-hitting style. I'm very pleased that she will be writing for The Montana Messenger. She will have an article in our first edition of the paper, due out October 26, 2009.

Regarding our list of writers, all writers who have granted permissions to Don, Joan, or myself, will be asked to transfer their permissions from The GV Patriot over to The Montana Messenger. I'll advise if any one writer declines to make the transfer with us, but I feel that each writer who has granted us permissions will stay with us on The Montana Messenger. I'll keep you posted. Thank you.

Salute!
