The Oath Keeper newspaper
« on: December 23, 2009, 02:40:44 am »

The website for the national Oath Keepers newspaper, The Oath Keeper, is now
on line.  Just go to the national Oath Keepers site at
http://oathkeepers.org/oath/  and click on the banner for The Oath Keeper
newspaper.

Montana's own Elias Alias is the publisher.  You can get The Oath Keeper
delivered to your door by subscribing either on line or via snail mail.

As Elias says in his letter from the publisher,

The Oath Keeper

This newspaper is an essential tool in the Oath Keepers mission as we work to
educate currently serving military, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire
Fighters about the Oath they swore to support and defend the Constitution.
Our goal is to inspire them to uphold that Oath, with the support of
like-minded citizens who stand up in defense of the Republic. ...

Elias just picked up the paper from the printer on Friday, and he reports that it looks great.  Subscribers will get their copies soon.  Those interested may get info at the link Basil added to the first post on the thread, or you can go straight to the website for The Oath Keeper:  www.theoathkeepernews.com.  Thanks to those who are supporting this project!

Eleven of us from the Gallatin valley braved a winter blizzard yesterday and drove over the Bozeman pass to Big Timber, Montana for an Oath Keepers meeting/ rally.  Elias spoke on Oath Keepers and conducted an Oath ceremony at the American legion hall for those wishing to take the Oath.   Not sure how to say that.  I spoke on FIJA and trial by jury, Representative Mike More spoke on his experiences in the legislature as sponsor of the Montana sovereignty resolution, and Rein G. spoke on county precinct organizing.  Four of us were open carrying.

It was all well received by a crowd which was smaller than it would have been but for the awful weather.  Still, people came from as far away as Emigrant and Wilsall.

The first edition of The Oath Keeper looks great.

Tin foil hats, Bernie?  Why, whatever for?  It's not like TPTB are skeered of the military, LEOs, firefighters, and the like actually keeping their oath to the Constitution or anything. . . . .

Thanks for the subscription!  It adds a little lighthearted touch to my typing in the spreadsheets when I've "met" the subscribers here at TMM.  (After spending hours working on the computer during the day, and coming home at night to do more of the same, any lighthearted touch I can find is welcomed!)

The latest issue of The Oath Keeper has been printed.  Elias will be sending out copies to subscribers tomorrow, so y'all will get them soon.

We are now accepting advertising; if you'd like to advertise in The Oath Keeper, let me know and I'll get you the rate information before it even hits the website!

Bulk orders are also available if you would like to sell The Oath Keeper at your rally or event.  Bulk papers are $1.50 each, and retail for $3.00, so your organization will make $1.50 per paper.  See our website (www.theoathkeepernews.com) for more info.

Thanks to all for your support!

The April issue was printed a bit later than we wanted, due to the fact that Elias was offline for almost 3 weeks.  But we finally got it done Thursday, and it should arrive in the hands of subscribers in a few days.

Hey all,
Thanks for keeping up with the paper here. Eddie, thanks for your glowing reports on the paper. We're now working on the May issue, which will go to print on the 20th. I'll be mailing on the 24th and 25th to all subscribers and State Chapters who order bulk shipments.

It was very trying to be without an online connection for so long, but I'm now riding high with a new computer and a wireless connection, and our lineup of articles for the May issue is looking strong. Our webmaster, Robert Terhune, is finishing up a semester at college, and as soon as he does we'll be posting a lot more stuff at the newspaper's site.

The paper is proving to be a great outreach tool for Oath Keepers, and our staff is gaining valuable experience each month. We now have subscribers in each of the fifty states, and continue to grow. Several State Chapter groups are selling the papers at Tea Party, 912 Project, End The Fed, and Oath Keepers rallies in various states, and that is helping us keep the paper's head above waterline while at the same time it is getting the papers out there to the public nicely around the country. It is a fun project, and the whole staff is grateful to be doing this work. We're proud of each issue.

We thank all who support this paper.
Salute!
Elias
