Presently I'm watching part of the old silent classic film "Intolerance", a W.B. Griffith movie

It reminds me, by the scene of the baby taken away from the mother, of the old saying, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."

Only today, the mother would have been arrested and a murderer let go to make room for her.

Also, this movie is nearly 100 years old. Think about that.
