Remember, at the time, wanting to fight was seen as a good thing.

I remember thinking that Jimmy Stewart not only talked the talk, he actually walked the walk. Turns out that there was another who tried to "walk the walk".

Always wondered why he never served, thought it might've been that he was too old, and valued as a movie star to be risked. Now I know better. He just raised, quite a bit, in my estimation.
