I finished Nae Yeojachinguneun Gumiho yesterday... It was a typical Romantic Comedy with some drama in it... Well, the part with the gumiho was a little unconventional.

I just started Denpa Onna Seishun Otoko about a girl that thinks she's an Alien. Interesting so far... very eccentric.

Don't watch much broadcast TV lately.  Currently watching http://www.stoneywolf.com/product-p/sw9123.htm and http://www.stoneywolf.com/product-p/sw9149.htm.  Also trying to find time for this series: http://www.survival.com/?page_id=21

Finished up the Chuck seasons, now we can start watching the current one. We started the Bluray version of the Star Wars saga last week (episodes IV, V and VI). Hope to get to the others ones soon. Went to the theaters to see the latest Twilight flick. [We like vampire stories and teenage angst amuses us :)]

Saw Cowboys Vs Aliens. Not bad. Harrison Ford redeemed himself from Indiana 4, IMHO...

Watched the first two episodes of 'The Colony' but couldn't continue.  A few years ago I would have loved this but knowing what I know now...

Complete strangers wandering around a burning city and happening upon an abandoned factory - OK, maybe they were very lucky.

Said factory has an inverter, 20+ car batteries, a pantry somewhat stocked with canned goods, and a freakin' crate of power tools - nah, their luck can't be that good.

They go out on a food run and scare off other scavengers and bikers by simply waving broom handles - nope, they would have all been shot.  End of show.

Got the movie Taken for Christmas and have watched it three times already.

A retired gov't agent (CIA I believe) wants to be closer to his 17-yr old daughter and is reluctant to let her go to Paris with a friend.  She is abducted while there - is actually talking on the phone to the dad while it happens - and the rest of the movie is a very determined father kicking arse and taking names until he gets her back.  Liam Neeson portrays a very good father and even better arse-kicker throughout.  The movie got me to thinking though: what training and skills does he posses?

I'm thinking at the very least:
Hand to hand combat
Firearms - all types
Defensive driving
Urban orienteering
Languages
Psychology

Hourou Musuko

http://www.animedreaming.tv/hourou-musuko-episode-2/

It's adapted from my favorite Manga, so I figured I'd give it a whirl. I'm only on ep 2 though. The art is great and there are several times I've wanted to hug Nitori already.
