My Little Pony; Friendship is Magic

I thought it was gonna be stupid, but after watching it once, I was hooked (hoofed?)

Seen that one too.  Dare I admit I sat on the couch with my two girls and watched the whole thing...

After they went to bed I watched a documentary on the history of artillery.  That evened everything out.

I humbly submit my pleasurable movie watching experience last night as one of the greatest films ever: Star Wars IV A New Hope

Watched the latest Bourne flick.  It was alright.  Not as good as the previous ones in my opinion.  A bunch of new people were brought in for the usual Treadstone and Blackbriar stuff and I found myself not caring about any of them very much.  Oh well, the popcorn was tasty.

A lot of stuff on netflix, emphasis on building "test rigs" and gadgets.   Myth Busters, and Technology "how it works" stuff.

Most of the time news is about the same old violations of the first principles of consent and golden rule with a dash of force thrown in........ with just enough duct tape to be believable.

Saw Total Recall. I enjoyed the chase scenes and all the CG even though I'm pretty sure I saw an Illumnati/Free Mason symbol....

Hmm... must have missed that.  Then again, I was too busy staring at Kate Beckinsale.  Whoops, drool on the keyboard again...

Saw BRAVE in the Theatre. It was kinda good. I liked when she almost started a war by kicking all the boy's butts in archery and announcing she'd be marrying herself.

Lately, I saw several other movies at home.

Prayers for Bobby (American - Drama/Romance/tearjerker/True Story)

But I'm a Cheerleader! (American - Budget Comedy)

D.E.B.s (American - corny as hell but still funny)

Battle Royal (Japanese - cult classic [very bloody])

and

My Wife is a Gangster (Korean - mafia comedy)

I'm also watching a cute Anime recently called Kanamemo. It's about a girl who gets a job as a newspaper delivery person, but her coworkers are lesbians and her boss is a gradeschooler. Hilarity ensues.

Bourne Legacy: Loved it! Good ol' fashioned suspense/action. The "heroine" was fantastic IMO. I cannot stand movies that portray the leading female as either being "too girly" or "too butch."

The Expendables 2: Liked this much better than the first one. More humor in this one, too.

Battleship: Cool CG.

Safe House: Meh.

John Carter: Nah.

Saw Brave, liked the accents, liked the main chara, disliked the actual story.

Saw the first episode of "Last Resort." I'm intrigued enough to see where this is going...

Up to season three now of Phineas and Ferb!  (me, my 8 and 6-yr olds love the show, my SHW is annoyed by it)
