I just watched season 1 of "Limitless" on Netflix.  I enjoyed it.  Because the main character is such a rebellious fellow, it made it possible for me to enjoy an FBI cop show.

.
I've seen every season/episode. It's pretty good. The ending is....ehh.....but worth the time to watch.

Only season 1 on Netflix.  How many exist, and where can I find them?

Sorry. I was wrong. There is only one 22 episode season. I watched it on regular TV. The episodes were REALLY spread out over a long time, so I thought that it was multiple seasons. Since you have seen the end, what did you think of the ending?

The setup for a second season was weak, making the "almost happily ever after" less satisfying as well.  In other words, if this is all there's going to be, then he should have got the girl.  But if there's going to be more, then they needed something more ominous to be next season's bad guy than "Morra might still be alive somewhere."  If they had just given him a brief scene doing something creepy and laughing wickedly would have sold that better.

The latest from Mel Gibson as director.  Was his last one really ten years ago (Apocalypto)?!

Hacksaw Ridge - coming in November, apparently based on a true story:

I liked him in The Patriot. The scene where he waded in CQB with the hawk and knife was dope. IMO, he went off the rails a ways with the religulous Passion(s).

Guns and Weed – The Road To Freedom

Because there's no such thing as "half-free".

This is a very fine production, well worth watching. Talk about doing something productive!

Just started up Lord of the Rings again.  I have the extended versions of all three movies with all the extras, appendices, etc.  I collapse on the couch each night for about 30 minutes of screen time so this venture should take me a couple weeks to complete.

Just started Black Mirror on Netflix.  ML's thread https://secure.thementalmilitia.com/forums/index.php?topic=36226.0 about the inevitability of tech trigged a response in me.

After just watching three episodes, I like it.  Have any of you watched this yet?  Curious to hear some opinions on what you thought if you have.

Planning on seeing 'Dunkirk' in 70mm.

---
Branagh said that about 30 veterans—now in their 90s—came to the U.K. premiere of the film last week, and when he asked them what they thought of it afterward, they said, “The film was louder than the battle!” They explained that on the actual beach, because that stretch of land is so large, the noise of the bombs drifted away on the air. But in Nolan’s film you hear everything.

Coen bros. 'Ballad of Buster Scruggs' western short story anthology - apparently on Netflix only - looks interesting, but I don't get Netflix

Watched all four seasons plus Bandersnatch, as they came out. Enjoyed them all.

Liked the prospector story too.  Tom Waits as the prospector was great.  Enjoyed the Buster Scruggs segment too.  You just can't get too cocky as a gunslinger...  You just never know.
