The 100-Hue Color Test

Test your ability to perceive subtle color variations.

I posted this on my blog this morning, but I thought it might be fun for the arty types or the just-plain curious here.

FWIW, my score was 7 when I tried the test in natural light and when I was wide awake; only a 28 (lower is better) by lamplight when I was tired.

Wow, that was quite difficult!  I scored an 11...  The blue hues were the most difficult for me apparently....

Okay - I scored a 53.

I had to stop after about 2    5 minute sessions because I kept feeling as if I had spun around in circles before taking the test. Because that is usually followed by upchucking - the thought of cleaning off the keyboard made me surrender.

mutti, sorry to make you dizzy! InLiberty, the blues were my worst area as well.

That test is hard, isn't it? I felt surprisingly discombobulated while taking it (though not as if I were going to upchuck on the keyboard). Who would think that merely sorting out a bunch of colors would hurt the brain so much?

Thanks for diving right in and trying it out, though.

I didn't get to drag any squares. I was diagnosed color blind in junior high. Do y'all remember the circles of different colored small pebbles that are supposed to indicate a written number? Some of them I got, black and whits, blue and yellow. But anything with green or red. Fugitaboutit.
