Guy Clark sang:

I have been to Fort Worth
I have been to Spain
I have been too proud
To come in out of the rain

I have seen the David
I've seen the Mona Lisa too
I have heard Doc Watson
Play Columbus Stockade Blues

Doc Watson was something else. Highly respected. There are some great stories about him. He was a good person, as well, from what I ever have heard. I am thankful for his music.

RIP Doc, When he gets his "harp and halo", I can picture him sitting crosslegged, hanging his halo across one knee, putting the harp in "open E" tuning, and busking some country blues by a wooded creek in one of the cooler parts of heaven... What an album cover that would be!
