does what?

make you look fat?
ohhhh, I thought we were speaking in hypotheticals of women in general..... I see it's shifted to personal... are you actually asking me if I have a big butt??

I have a tough time believing you'd ask any woman here that question. I'd have to place that on a need to know basis.
~S

Fair enough, and I was talking hypotheticals of women, and it was you that has taken this personal.

personally, I feel telling the truth is far better than trying to please someone's ego.
if you can not handle the truth, don't ask the question.<----precisely!
Really?
"make you look fat?"
Nice backpedal though!
~S

So I am guessing that this is part of this we/us/they so it fits that you/me/I/them also fits here.

and since we, or at least I was talking hypothetical here and on an open forum, that this was all in fun as in tongue in cheek.

So when did I directly made this reference to you "personally"?

so much for having a sense of humor.  I will keep that in mind the next time I see one of your posts

Lurking implies being quiet, heyoka. Is that a quote you personally agree with or thought was amusing? Some women might take exception with being compared to an elephant; I take exception to the "ownership" part.

JULIO - I believe Splash has a sense of humor. I'm thinking there has been some misunderstanding/miscommunication along the way. :)

No doubt Ms Moonbeam,
But from what I have read from other posts she has made, she seams to have a thin skin.
and others here have called her out on it. So I do stand on what I have said earlier.

It's an interesting perspective being the "new kid on the block", far as the thin skin.....I grew up in an Irish family with 2 older brothers, and then had 3 sons.. and tended bar in NY for 5 years..thin skin? That's pretty funny to me!

Perhaps you're confusing thin skin, with fairness and accuracy Julio?

I would hope this thread turns away from my thin skin, to it's far more fun original topic which is, gentlemen..........
But since I can't buy you a cold one Julio, I hope this will suffice.

, well not in that case....!
Funny thing happened to how the establishment viewed women in the 70's.....they became another resource to tap into for taxation.

So, they were belittled into believing their "thankless, useless, broodmare, boring, ignorant stay -at-home roles, were unimportant.
It worked just as surely as Ed Bernays convinced women that smoking was sexy and would make them independent, more alluring creatures.

Madison Avenue jumped in, in a big way. "Curves, softness, charm, being different from men" began to be wiped away.
Feminine Appeal became scorned.

The fires of the war between the sexes were successfully lit. A genius plan to separate women from their spouses, their children and their homes. The pill added fuel to "be free from babies".

Today, women are reaping the results of that experiment. Denying our femininity, choosing to suit up, in order to be "taken seriously". Allowing/or being forced in daycare, having total strangers raise their children, " to teach them".

All that hard wiring, innate in both sexes was turned on it's head in the name of "equality". Most agree equal pay for equal work, to be treated respectfully no matter the sex, but that's not what happened.
Instead, bombarded with convincing advertising, many women began to view themselves as unappreciated dolts if they raised a family and created a loving, stable environment for their children to grow up in.
They were convinced, they could "have it all".
Men were looked upon as "insensitive cavemen" for the sin of being male.
"Unisex" was rammed down throats, attempting to over ride the necessary gifts, each sex was hard wired with.
To compliment , NOT compete against each other.

Who is protecting, teaching our young? (yep, some parents don't deserve to remain in the home)

Was it an error in the grand scheme, to require both sexes to make, nurture, raise,& teach their young?
Can a woman really be a Dad? Can a man really be a Mother?
According to the media, it's nooo problem at all...and if it is?
