Is silver and gold finally breaking out? Silver is $21.80 right now. Up about $2.50/oz since 2/3/14.

Gold is up about $75/oz in the same time period.

Silver is under $20/oz. again. If you have been waiting for the right time to buy, you might better do it now. (just my opinion. I guarantee NOTHING)

It's always a great time to trade FRN's for silver.  But, I agree that now is an excellent time to buy!

I'm loving the low price of silver.  Time to buy, buy, buy.

Perfect time to buy!  But then again, it's always a good time to trade pieces of paper for precious metals.

PM prices have been falling in part because the US dollar is rising.

This isn't due to strength in the dollar.  The USD index is computed by weighting the exchange rates of several currencies.  From Kitco:
Euro           57.6 %
Japan/yen 13.6 %
UK/pound   11.9 %
Canada/dollar 9.1 %
Sweden/krona 4.2 %
Switzerland/franc 3.6 %

The Euro and the Yen are crashing; together they make up over 70% of the USD index.

The USD index had gone up 12 weeks in a row:

Today the USD is dropping, and PM prices are rising.  Nothing goes up forever, and there are a long list of reasons to think the USD will continue its long-term down trend.

So I bought PMs on Friday.  The price promptly fell some more, but I'm not worried.  I turned FRNs into metal, and that is always a good move.

Peace,

Silver

Yeah... I was regretting not putting off my semi-recent purchases for a month or so. THEN, I remembered that mantra. Better to be a month early, than a day late. You can't put a price on piece of mind.

Mining CEO Proposes: Crush Market Manipulation By Halting Silver Sales: “Would Send Ripples To The Entire System”

If we were to suspend production for just one month that would send ripples to the entire system. The supply is already tight. So it would be extremely interesting to see what would happen in a situation like that.

I not only encourage them [silver producers], I would suggest that we all get together and do exactly that. I think it would be a very exciting thing for all the silver companies to form a semi-cartel in a way similar to OPEC. I don’t see why we can’t do that.

I think we all agree that the paper market has no representation for the physical market… and I think it makes sense that we would all work together to sell our product to industry… and I would encourage all of them to pull back our silver.

We should pick a month in 2015 and say ‘We’re going to hold back silver for 30 days’ and see how the silver buyers respond to that.

Hmmmmmm.....Very interesting.....
