Thanks, Guys.
We have distributed nearly six thousand copies, mostly here in Montana. We have several "hot-spots" in Montana where the Patriot movement is very strong, and they're eating up these papers fast. I've received a lot of very favorable comments regarding the content. And we're getting subscriptions in the mail now. One guy from about three hundred miles northwest of here just messaged me that he distributed 30 copies in Lincoln County and is sending me a handful of subscriptions and some donations.
And all of that is good, but if y'all liked our first issue you're gonna love the next issue. Vol.1, No.2 will go to the printer on December 07, 2009, and will reach me here in Three Forks on the 8th. This issue is shaping up to be a really nice issue. We've actually found some commercial advertisers - not many, but some.
I've been waiting the past three days to announce our new website for the Messenger. In fact, I started a thread in this forum last night, posted it, and then checked the link and found to my dismay that our subscription page still has some bugs to be worked out. With Turkey Day coming tomorrow, I doubt I'll be able to see that problem fixed in time to announce the site, as my web guy is likely to take tomorrow off.
But sometime very soon now we'll announce our website, and with that we shall do just as you'd like, Ragnar - we'll take this baby nation-wide.
Thank you both for passing the paper around. I hope that some percentage of folks who read the paper will feel prompted to order subscriptions, for that is how we plan to finance the paper. Donations, subscriptions, and the occasional ad. Each issue costs thousands of dollars, and we're really hoping the grassroots public will want to support this paper. As you've now seen for yourself, we're not bashful about taking the Internet's bounty into printed pages. My vision is to build this paper to national status right away, and I do believe we have what we need to do just that. We appreciate everyone's support.
Stay tuned!
Salute!
Elias
