I only go to one gun show and it's two weekends every month all summer long.....and there are NO dealers.....only a bunch of folks walking around with guns on their sides and over their shoulders..... and a few tables with folks getting rid of and getting new stuff for their private collections.....

What's really cool about it is that it's way out in the boonies.....and if you find something you like.....you just take a walk "over the hill" and try it out before you buy, sell, or trade.....

Land of Sky gun and knife show the weekend of Feb 4th and 5th at the Asheville civic center.

a "good" gunshow with more action taking place outside the front door than at most tables but there are normally several "private" sale tables in addition to the regular tables.

I know OF a fellow who ALWAYS carries a .38 snubbie DEEPLY concealed LOADED into every gun show he attends as he KNOWS that the feddies are there working to plant evidence on innocent people/honest folk, busy trying to arrest people for free exercise of common place sale/trade of firearms to people fully qualified to buy/possess/sell arms.  (He does NOT EVER sell or do an;y commerce with ANYONE not qualified lawfully to buy/sell ON PAPER.  It's just that sometimes one may see something they want that is not currently owned by a dealer.)  He has already decided NOT to go to jail on some kind of evidence planting entrapment the feddies are commonly know for doing.  I don't go to many shows cause of my health, but he tells me the feddies are commonly there now days.  Enjoy the shows folks, but WATCH OUT!!

Tanner Gun Show February 4-5, Denver Merchandise Mart, Mart Pavillion -- 58th Ave at I-25. 9AM-4PM.

Any TCF'ers planning on going, let's set a meetup time/place, such as at the food tables.

Update: I'll be there on Saturday. Look for me around 12:30 at the back, where the concessions are, at a table.

Poop. Sorry for the late notice. There's no FeRNs in my wallet, so I  hadn't been paying attention:

PRO Gun Show -- Westland Mall, Columbus, Ohio
2/11/2006

PRO Gun Show is set for February 11-12 at Westland Mall in Columbus, Ohio. Admission is $7 (We have been forced to raise the gate fee by $1 due to likely legal action against the City of Columbus). Ladies, all children under 13, and Life Members of Peoples Rights Organization are admitted free. Show hours are 9-5 on Saturday, and 9-4 on Sunday. For more information, times, and directions, please call 614-523-7759. Vendors seeking table availability should call 614-523-7767.  All net proceeds of every PRO Gun Show help fund community education programs, law enforcement endorsed child safety programs, crime avoidance events for women, and youth education and gun safety training programs. NOTE: Westland Mall is not within the Columbus city limits, and therefore is not subject to Columbus ordinances.

Quote
The Peoples Rights Organization (PRO) is a constitutional rights advocacy group and highly respected Second Amendment information center. Founded in 1989 following the passage of vague and restrictive legislation in Columbus and other large cities across the U.S., PRO filed and won a number of lawsuits in federal and state court overturning unconstitutional laws.  Today, Peoples Rights Organization is Ohio's largest and most aggressive grassroots firearms rights organization, focusing on Education, Legislation and Litigation.  In 2004, PRO was recognized by a number of entities, including the Ohio House of Representatives, for 15 years as one of the nation's leading grassroots firearms rights organizations.

Our advocacy offices and safety training/education center are located just a few miles from the state capitol at 4444 Indianola Avenue, Columbus, OH, 43214.

Will any TCF members be at The Big Reno Show this weekend?  (March 10-11-12, '06)  I won't have a table, but you might see me wandering the aisles on Friday and Saturday.  If you see a graying guy with a 19th Century looking beard (no moustache) wearing a SurvivalBlog T-Shirt--that'll be me.
