You'd think a threat like this would justify citizen action against these cops, wouldn't you?

A Kansas lawyer says cops told him if he doesn't let them search his home despite not having a warrant they would come back with one and bust into his home with a battering ram, kill his dogs, and then ransack his house.

The cops were searching for two suspects believed to be violating their parole, evidently they felt the men were hiding in this stranger's home. When Eric Crinnian refused to let the cops search his house, he says one officer threatened him saying, “If we have to get a warrant, we’re going to come back when you’re not expecting it, we’re going to park in front of your house, where all your neighbors can see, we’re gonna bust in your door with a battering ram, we’re gonna shoot and kill your dogs, who are my family, and then we’re going to ransack your house looking for these people.”

Justification doesn't make it either safe or wise to do...

The other day I read a story where a cop was shot and killed for shooting someones dog.
My only reaction was to wonder why it hasn't happened sooner. Seriously. To many people
their dogs are family.

FWIW the cop fatality was 12 gauge round to the face.

  • Welcome to Wyoming, Conceder everyone armed

Hmmmm
Do to my divorce here, the cops know me and know that I know how and can use  a weapon.

having said that, I still would say get your warrant, and lets see what happens, because you have already put me on high alert.

You going to kill me dog? over my dead body, and there will be more of you dead than me.
With all the shit I went through in my divorce, I have given this some thought, and have a plan of sorts as to what and where I can/ do about such a thing.
some plan is better than no plan.
Whats that saying the Boy Scouts have, "Be prepared".
So I have thought about it and have prepared as best as I can.
better to plan and have nothing happen, than do nothing and hope for nothing to happen.
