OH! :laugh: Why, yes I have! I don't think that it hurt as badly as THAT would though! Those would be cool to deploy out of the back of a car though. *notthatiamadvocatingthis*

Having stepped on a lego in the middle of the night in my stocking feet I can attest to the pain involved...lol.

Don't want to hijack this thread but there are way newer versions of caltrops available or made at home. Or substitutes that would do the same job.

 Imagine a pickle jar filled with these;

http://www.lowes.com/pd_69327-1278-1MSCAP3_4294710875__?productId=4744711&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar

I can attest that many will land point up and those that don't will still cause damage to a tire.

Thrown from a moving car these would spread out nicely.

Anyway back to our previously subjected post.

We didn't have legos, but my young sons did have matchbox cars and a few tiny "Tonka" trucks. Stepping on one of the Tonkas in the middle of the night, I took a swift ride down the hallway, smashing into the wall at the end... Yippee. Only took a week for my foot and the bruises to heal. The boy was really upset about his truck, but it wasn't really hurt much...  Those things are tough!  Mama? Not so much. LOL

LOL I feel your pain.  I have found that many children's toys can mess up your whole view on such things at 3 in the morning.

You don't need the audio for this video. It's visual / slapstick.

I was inspired by one mom's LEGO project for the minifigs. Here is my design:

The first post is just plain nuts! Do you have any idea how much money that costs?!? NUTS!

I like your minifig board, but my minion would never go for it. He plays with the legos. He doesn't collect. Most of the sets that I have bought only stay together for a few weeks or so. The minion is constantly constructing and destructing vehicles and buildings.

The board is placed above their LEGO table/work area. They constantly get them down and put them back onto the board. The board is basically a nice storage area so they can see what they have and it keeps the figs organized and OFF OF THE FLOOR!!!!!

Yeah. I can't remember the last time that I saw the dining room table without legos on it. :laugh:

Get a box of nails (finishing are best), trimm the heads (skip if they are finishing), Flatten the centers, bend 90 degrees with small spot to.....Tack weld to gether at 90 degrees, sharpen in a grinder with a "Hypodermic angle"  toss in 55 gallon drums for future dispersal...........

Alternately, skip the shapening and dull them.  Put them together in a baggie with a rubber ball as a home made game of jacks.   Preppers will remember.........

Most of the time news is about the same old violations of the first principles of consent and golden rule with a dash of force thrown in........ with just enough duct tape to be believable.
