I was damned if I did, and damned if I didn't -- mention the satanic aspect of the co-author of "From Psy-Op To MindWar".

Great post, Elias. I am an agnostic as well. That's why the god/satan aspect did not sit well with me. I'm glad that you included it though, as it could be a part of the bigger picture. To leave it out would not be doing anyone any favors.

I'll be waiting for your next installment with eager anticipation.

Join the club.  Any intellectually honest man, who has NOT witnessed an outright miracle out of nowhere, HAS to be agnostic.  You cannot claim to "know" what you believe.  Those words are entirely different, but they are flung around the wrong way these days.  I've commented extensively on this here and on other fora over the years.  Its made no difference.  Facts can always be reinterpreted to fit someone's world view.  It is the rare man who can hold a clear world view and shape it based on facts.  Hell its a rare man who can observe the facts and take them in as they are, without coloring them on the way in, either.

That said, my rant about the satanism angle is exactly that, I see it at info wars, I see it other places.  I'm guessing the MindWar operatives are trying to incite the religious fanatics to blind rage by pointing at some of their own and saying "oooh, look, they burned an owl effigy, they're obviously satanists against the bible!!!"  Then they sit back and hope some of the nuttier super christians will do something stupid.  Thankfully, to date, those fellows have been busy making money and feeling self important and when people are well fed and feeling self important, they don't blow shit up or kill people for no reason other than that someone pointed at them and yelled "BURN THE WITCH!!!!  KILL THE HERETIC!!!!  PURGE THE XENOS!!!"

The day the bellies are empty and they feel cast aside, I assume things will be different.

What we think is of keen interest to those who manipulate the General government for Defense contracts etc.

There is a plainly visible need nowadays for “Wars and Rumors of War”. It helps keep Wall Street’s bubble afloat while at the same time fortifying the fractional-reserve central banking practices of the Federal Reserve, which itself grants to the General government in WDC the power to render more services without acutely raising taxes. It empowers our government officials to lever Defense contracting. It is an engine, a mechanism, an indifferent momentum of combined factors which undergird our perception of reality. It is life as we know it, routine life in America’s daily fare. It can be tailored, formed, shaped to suit the purpose of any given policy, so long as the people are not made aware.

I am saying: the view of America and our role in the world at large, as portrayed via the media, the press, Madison Avenue, and the White House, is a constructed image carefully designed to disguise nefarious motives underlying our foreign policy. But what about Domestic Policy?

If government has need for a receptive attitude within the public consciousness of the American people for policies which would suppress the people’s freedom, it has a military and Intelligence community which can generate the desired “consensus” in public opinion using their well-staffed PSYOP psy-warriors and their assets. I am saying: the view of America and our role in the world at large, as portrayed via the media, the press, Madison Avenue, and the White House, is a constructed image carefully designed to disguise nefarious motives underlying our foreign policy.

In our failure as Americans to oversee our government’s activities we have allowed it to create our enemies; and those enemies have in turn become necessary to the perpetuation of the great lie which underwrites our standard of living.

For our current Federal government, which with intent defies its founding legal charter, it is important to maintain a favorable mindset in the public mind. Their control mechanism depends on a pliant and compliant acceptance in the group mind. The War on Terror is required to vent the military-industrial complex which keeps the Wall Street bubble afloat which keeps Americans in big-screen tvs, shopping malls and specialty boutiques, spending money for sports events, fine cars, etc. – and thusly also keeps Americans by and large duly distracted from what the hidden hand of MindWar may be up to. But as Catherine Austin Fitts says, “If we can’t face it, God can’t fix it.”

And all of that is bad enough, yet here is the ultimate in incredulity. General Vallely, a former PSYOP officer who co-wrote “From PSYOP to MindWar”, not only wants to see an American administration (Obama) over-turned and replaced with a more conservative regime, (of which we’ve seen our share in the past thirty or so corruption-packed years), which shall change the language of tyranny yet again to appease an awakening citizenry – he also wants to build a private army to overthrow the lawful Government of Syria.

I would recommend that readers pause here and watch this video in which we find the Good General riding about at what appears to be the Turkey/Syria border, himself armed, with armed rebel forces for escort, in a convoy with rebel trucks and machine guns:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3lPGY7UlsA

(I am still looking for how to post a video on this forum. Maybe we decided years ago that we did not want videos posted here on account of bandwidth -- I can't recall. If that is the case, then I'll just get along by linking to the vids elsewhere and hope readers here will take the time to view them. Go ahead, click that link and see something you will never see on television.)

As we mentioned previously, Generals rub elbows with the executives of the Corporate Dynasty, the Wall Street/Intelligence/Federal Reserve triptych of unimaginable money-power players, all together which comprise the visible face of the military-industrial complex. Note the black trucks with the stenciled doors and the mounted big guns which provided security as General Vallely was chauffeured about. Do we suppose that FSA guerrilla fighters pooled their paychecks to buy those armed trucks? Or is it a better guess that someone with no current/direct ties to the manufacturers of such things, or to the General government’s departments, served as liaison to get the equipage into guerrilla hands? How easy might it be for any retired American officer to hang out over there and collect up some phone numbers and addresses and banking info which could be later handed silently to a Board member of a corporate giant, say, like General Electric, or to someone on the fifth floor at Langley?

I am not accusing General Vallely of doing such things; rather, I am asking if such a scenario must not have happened (by someone)  in order for those trucks and guns to have ended up in guerrilla hands. Somebody arranged that, yes no? While we’re sure that General Vallely would never sponsor illicit arms movements to guerrilla forces candidly seeking to overthrow governments, we must note that somehow these rebel forces have obtained a bit more firepower than we Americans can find at our beloved gun shows. Recall: Obama’s CIA was on the ground at Benghazi, trafficking weapons with Turkey’s help from Libya to Syria.

With Iraq and Afghanistan now stalemated and Iran as yet posing too much difficulty, where can the military-industrial complex turn for their next war? Remember this – no matter how we answer that question, we can know as fact that since World War II every war in which we’ve involved our military has been 1) undeclared by our Congress, and 2) joined by a “coalition of the willing” (other nations) under the auspices of the United Nations. For the last sixty-nine years we’ve forsaken our sovereignty as “America” so the fat cats of Wall Street, the Progressive monopoly-capitalists of the military-industrial complex, and the new world order gang over at the United Nations, could wage “perpetual war for perpetual peace” and have We The People not only fight their wars for them but also finance them with our tax dollars. Colonel Riley is right. The American mindset could use a conversion moment, an epiphany moment which could jar it back to its traditional perception of life in the good ol’ USA.

Is there really any question that *somebody* is wanting war in the middle east?  Vallely himself admits that he is helping build a guerrilla army, a private army, to fight Assad in Syria. He openly makes speeches about that. How on earth can that game-plan mesh with General Vallely’s effort in America to install himself as administrator of the Tea Party, which at its core wants the US out of the middle-east?

It is no secret that the Tea Party came out of the Ron Paul Revolution. I am not easily fooled in questions of contemporary foreign policy. Non-aggression at its center, the Tea Party would bring our troops home for better uses, for righteous and moral uses.

Again we turn to the extremist corporate fascist warhawks of the PNAC era, many of whom studied under Leo Strauss at the University of Chicago. We note that their feature document was sent to the Clinton Administration well before 9/11/2001, and that it was called “Rebuilding America’s Defenses”. For the military-industrial complex, that paper represented their marching orders. While Clinton largely ignored it and even turned Sudan down when they offered to hand over Osama bin Laden, when George W. Bush-41 came to office the document flamed into full advance mode. It included this much-scorned phraseology –

On page 51 of the PNAC’s “Rebuilding America’s Defenses” paper: (quoting)

“Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor. Domestic politics and industrial policy will shape the pace and content of transformation as much as the requirements of current missions.” (end quote)

At the same time the PNAC was being formed, Zbigniew Brzezinski, a major Obama Adviser and foot-soldier for David Rockefeller and Citibank, was publishing his bombshell book, “The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy And Its Geostrategic Imperatives”. Copyright 1997 by Zbigniew K. Brzezinski; published by Basic Books, a division of Perseus Books Group; ISBN: (cloth: 0-465-02725-3) (paper: 0-465-02726-1).

In that book, on page 211, he noted for the warhawk PNAC neo-cons: (page 211, quoting)

“Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat.”
(end quote)

And on page 40 he declares the values which support the neo-con warhawk military-industrial complex “attitude”: (Quoting)

“In brief, for the United States, Eurasian geostrategy involves the purposeful management of geostrategically dynamic states and the careful handling of geopolitically catalytic states, in keeping with the twin interests of America in the short-term preservation of its unique global power and in the long run transformation of it into increasingly institutionalized global cooperation. To put it in a terminology that hearkens back to the more brutal age of ancient empires, the three grand imperatives of imperial geostrategy are to prevent collusion and maintain security dependence among the vassals, to keep tributaries pliant and protected, and to keep the barbarians from coming together.” - Zbigniew Brzezinski, 1998.

But Brzezinski is a multi-faceted errand-boy for the new world order. He was in cheerleader mode way back in 1970 when he published another major confession of Domestic Hegemonic Lust (DHL): (quoting)

“The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.
” … A national information grid that will integrate existing electronic data banks is already being developed….The nation-state is gradually yielding its sovereignty. … In the economictechnological field, some international cooperation has already been achieved, but further progress will require greater American sacrifices.”
(Quoted from: Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era by Zbigniew Brzezinski; copyright 1970 by Zbigniew Brzezinski; published 1970 by The Viking Press, Inc., 625 Madison Avenue, New York, New York 10022; (I)SBN: 670-16041-5.)

So here is our Good General now cooking up the Establishment’s newest attempt to co-opt the Tea Party of the entire USA, which was already co-opted twice by the Republican Party USA. It is public relations, it is Madison Avenue, it is advertising, it is propaganda, it is psychological operations. Could it be MindWar?

When it is coupled with foreign interventions by Intelligence community operatives and US Military Unconventional Warfare, Irregular Warfare, and Special Warfare Psy-warriors, you can bet your bottom dollar it’s MindWar.

Aquino gives us a clue. Speaking in his book (the book pictured previously on this thread, entitled "MindWar"), of the original paper he wrote with then-Colonel Vallely in 1980, he notes:

“…several of its [the MindWar paper’s] prescriptions were applied during the first Gulf War, and recently even more conspicuously during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. In both instances intense PSYOP was directed against the object of the attack, while a simultaneous ‘Public Affairs’ effort was made to shield U.S. domestic public opinion from the type of independent critical media coverage that plagued the Vietnam War, by ‘embedding’ journalists with military units to inevitably channel their perspectives and perceptions.” (end quote)

Aquino has just explained something I have noted often before. A significant part of Unconventional Warfare involves the US military and/or Intelligence community (and/or their private-sector counterparts) making use of the media, the press, and other social and cultural institutions.

Here it is from Aquino and Vallely, page 7 in their 1980 treatise on MindWar.

“In its strategic context, MindWar must reach out to friends, enemies, and neutrals alike across the globe – neither through primitive “battlefield” leaflets and loudspeakers of PSYOP nor through the weak, imprecise, and narrow effort of psychotronics – but through the media possessed by the United States which have the capabilities to reach virtually all people on the face of the Earth. These media are, of course, the electronic media – television and radio. State of the art developments in satellite communication, video recording techniques, and laser and optical transmission of broadcasts make possible a penetration of the minds of the world such as would have been inconceivable just a few years ago.”

Yes, MindWar requires the control over the American collective consciousness as well as every other nation’s mentality. That is quite a thought, considering that the US government is actually engaged in the control and structuring of the American national psyche.

We find on page 8 and 9 in the 1980 paper: (quoting)
“…the MindWar operative must know that he speaks the truth, and he must be personally committed to it. What he says is only a part of MindWar; the rest – and the test of its effectiveness – lies in the conviction he projects to his audience, in the rapport he establishes with it.” (end quote)

General Vallely wrote or co-authored those words in 1980. Does General Vallely project a conviction in his presentations to Tea Party audiences? Is he not convinced of the truth of his vision for how to save America? As such, is he a product of a mechanism he himself helped create? Is he a product of, or an agent of, or willing dupe for, the military-industrial complex? Is he experienced in MindWar? Does he know that the difference between Good and Evil exists in the mind of Mankind? Does he know that actions speak louder than words?

Let’s take it up another notch or two. At the bottom of pqge 10 in their 1980 document is this little side-dish diddy:

Page 10, footnote – Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) waves: ELF waves up to 100 Hz are once more naturally occurring, but they can also be produced artificially (such as for the Navy’s Project Sanguine for submarine communication). ELF-waves are not normally noticed by the unaided senses, yet their resonant effect upon the human body has been connected to both physiological disorders and emotional distortion. Infrasound vibration (up to 20 Hz) can subliminally influence brain activity to align itself to delta, theta, alpha, or beta wave patterns, inclining an audience toward everything from alertness to passivity. Infrasound could be used tactically, as ELF-waves endure for great distances; and it could be used in conjunction with media broadcasts as well. See Playfair, Guy L. and Hill, Scott, The Cycles of Heaven. New York: St. Martin’s Press, 1978, pages 130-140.

Please understand – these guys were talking about ELF waves being used for mass mind-control thirty-four years ago. While that astonishes us, it is but the beginning of a perilous plight on wings of unbridled science down into an abyss large enough to swallow up the entire earth and human race. ELF waves can make people sick, can change their moods, can speed them up and slow them down, and much much more. Imagine what controlled ELF waves might do to a young socio-path who has been on psychiatric drugs for a while, what ELF waves might impress such a mind to conceive, to act out, to say and/or do, at a movie theater in Colorado or a classroom in Connecticut…

Our more advanced members here already know what DARPA is, but how many know about IARPA?

Quote
“The technology behaves like a robot, understanding and answering complex questions,” said a former Aquaint researcher. “Think of 2001: A Space Odyssey and the most memorable character, HAL 9000, having a conversation with David. We are essentially building this system. We are building HAL.” – A Former AQUAINT researcher at IARPA.

Question: Aquino and Vallely were talking about ELF waves back in 1980 while serving their country in the 7th Psychological Operations Group of the US Army. What hath thirty-four subsequent years wrought?

I am going to offer readers a very important article from Washington’s Blog. I encourage all readers to read the article carefully.

Do we want the same small group of folks who have the power to suspend the Constitution, implement martial law, and imprison normal citizens to also be gathering information on all Americans and running AI programs to be able to predict where American citizens will go for help and what they will do in case of an emergency?

The DOD is developing a parallel to Planet Earth, with billions of individual “nodes” to reflect every man, woman, and child.
Called the Sentient World Simulation (SWS), it will be a “synthetic mirror of the real world with automated continuous calibration with respect to current real-world information”, according to a concept paper for the project.
“SWS provides an environment for testing Psychological Operations (PSYOP),” the paper reads, so that military leaders can “develop and test multiple courses of action to anticipate and shape behaviors of adversaries, neutrals, and partners”.

The New Thought Police
The NSA Wants to Know How You Think—Maybe Even What You Think

• By James Bamford
• Posted 01.01.09

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/military/nsa-police.html

The National Security Agency (NSA) is developing a tool that George Orwell’s Thought Police might have found useful: an artificial intelligence system designed to gain insight into what people are thinking.

With the entire Internet and thousands of databases for a brain, the device will be able to respond almost instantaneously to complex questions posed by intelligence analysts. As more and more data is collected—through phone calls, credit card receipts, social networks like Facebook and MySpace, GPS tracks, cell phone geolocation, Internet searches, Amazon book purchases, even E-Z Pass toll records—it may one day be possible to know not just where people are and what they are doing, but what and how they think…

Known as Aquaint, which stands for “Advanced QUestion Answering for INTelligence,” the project was run for many years by John Prange, an NSA scientist at the Advanced Research and Development Activity. Headquartered in Room 12A69 in the NSA’s Research and Engineering Building at 1 National Business Park, ARDA was set up by the agency to serve as a sort of intelligence community DARPA, the place where former Reagan national security advisor John Poindexter’s infamous Total Information Awareness project was born. [NOVA Editor's note: TIA was a short-lived project founded in 2002 to apply information technology to counter terrorist and other threats to national security.] Later named the Disruptive Technology Office, ARDA has now morphed into the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA).

A sort of national laboratory for eavesdropping and other spycraft, IARPA will move into its new
120,000-square-foot home in 2009. The building will be part of the new M Square Research Park in College Park, Maryland. A mammoth two million-square-foot, 128-acre complex, it is operated in collaboration with the University of Maryland. “Their budget is classified, but I understand it’s very well funded,” said Brian Darmody, the University of Maryland’s assistant vice president of research and economic development, referring to IARPA. “They’ll be in their own building here, and they’re going to grow. Their mission is expanding.”…

By accessing nielsen ratings and in some cases your IP address, they can also track what you watch AND when you are home. By accessing grocery store "buyers club cards", they can keep track of what you eat, and also any vices you may have (eg; alcohol/cigarettes). Even if you pay cash! All of this information can be compiled into a file and run through an algorithm that reveals a very detailed personality profile. This can then be used to target potential enemies of the state, gun owners, potential patsies, agent provocateurs, or any number of useful idiots. Of course, I can't PROVE that. It does seem likely though, given the complexity of the known algorithms used by Wall St. to predict future stock movements and such.

Here's a link that shows just how far these computer algorithms have come since their inception just a mere generation ago-

I don't buy science being the culprit here.  It isn't science.  It is evil psychopathic jackassery that is to blame.  Power damaged minds, as someone else long ago may have said.  Having technology is one thing, the issue is that we know EXACTLY what these people will use it to accomplish.  Or attempt.  Frankly, I'm starting to get to the point where I'm simply not a fan of all this depressive defeated thinking.

I call BS on some of this stuff.  Most of what they got is not "perfect."  They won't guess what you're thinking.  What they'll do is get a "good enough" picture.  Then again, as you may well notice, they send paramilitary death squads (SWAT teams) to blow up innocent harmless families and immolate their kids for no better reason than that an informant falsely SWATted those poor people.

Oh, we were dreaming up of shadow ops and other dark shit back when I was still active on the black hat / grey hat scene.  That was in my TEENS.  I haven't followed through, but I remember that quite often, nobody hacked anything, yet people got their heads cracked.  Some of the "uberhackers" were simply rich kids whose daddies bought them "hacking tools" on CD from work (that'd be "pen testing tools" for you pros out there.  Often times it was nothing more than NMAP with a decent in house produced front end, to replace the then exceedingly crappy "NmapFE.")

To put it into perspective, nothing is quite what people think it is.  In reality, the real threat is not the technology.  That supercomputer, that AI, that database, that particular type of tech, all of it and each of it could be better used to serve up more appropriate advertising for legit, CLEAN products.  The problem is that goobers don't want to play fair, honest, and live in the wondrous world of experience and knowledge.  They want to live in a world where everyone is kept in the dark, and all is ruled by highly compartmentalized psychopaths and their agencies.  Why they want to live like that?  Your guess is as good as mine.

---------------------------------------------------------

Moonbeam... don't worry.  Survival isn't the issue.  As I once said when I coined thrivalist as a term on this forum (other places before then, but there was a particular instance where I coined it here.)  It isn't about staying alive, every miserable slave is alive... what we want is to LIVE WELL.  And that is doable.  Even inside their system.

Moonbeam, I think that the first thing I'm wanting to do is lay in the evidence which hopefully reinforces my basic premise that MindWar is very real and is being directed at the people of planet earth. After enough facts are laid in which support that premise, then we shall begin to discuss our reactions to the knowledge, and perhaps in so discussing we may come up with ideas to share with each other, ideas which would engender a sense of hope. The first step has to identify the problem and admit it is real. I personally think that to a large extent there is a concerted effort to shape, mold, forge, design, train, program, Feducate, and and finally insert a particular loosely-cohesive collection of mind-sets into the "group mind" (collective consciousness as Jung would put it) for purposes of controlling the masses in compliant subserviency to an arbitrary world government. But as earlier noted, once the target mind perceives what is being done to it, that mind has begun already to resolve the threat. It then becomes a matter of one's will-power to control the content of one's mind, which is why I think the Mental Militia is the perfect title under which to create an educational and pro-active resistance movement. It's a "Mental" Militia, right? What better name under which to organize the resistance could there possibly be?

Thank you for reading through all this morbidity, Moonbeam. I appreciate it. Personally, I'm a very happy old guy, and I see no reason we should not all be happy. I cherish beauty, sensitivity, and creativity, and my work, for which I'm now being paid, is to curtail the work of those who do not value such things. I am feeding squirrels, birds, turkeys, deer, and two cats at my log cabin in the north-country woods of NW Montana, with cell connection, Internet connection, a warm dry place for all my bookshelves, and an old guy's liberty to do with my days as I choose and wish. How an old uneducated eccentric and foreign war Veteran managed to get to such luxury is a story of hope, which is part of the good news we'll arrive at e're this discussion is done. A hint to keep your interest: Hope has to do with spirit, soul, and psyche as they are manifest into our material surroundings and mental moods.  ;)

In fact, I'll share with you a little something I wrote a while back, in hopes it will dull somewhat the pain of reading what the powers may wish to do with our lives -- one of my efforts at beauty and creativity.

ROOT AND BOUGH

It cannot be a metaorganism,
though it seems like one sometimes…….
It cannot really be something metachemical,
yet that is precisely what it is –
this nexus, this dancing gravity,
this impossible vibration of anti-matter atmosphere,
this insensible sensation of being
borne by breath.

Spirit, Soul, and Psyche each arrive in turn
before gravity, before a sensing of the world, like
a few invisible things surrounding and
containing something,
reflecting and concurring, like
a sunset and its reach of ivory beach sands;

and there stands man…

Can he know the high toll of dimensional dilution?
Are three tenses really enough?
At the very thought of it Psyche recedes into
Soul’s formless extensions,
and Soul withdraws into Spirit
where all are refined;
where matter becomes immaterial…

where, though they bore it together for their pleasure,
neither root nor bough can conceive
the secret in the seed.

If you like that kind of consciousness, let me know and I'll link you to more. Thanks Moonbeam.
Salute!
Elias

Thanks Elias. I think your posts should be relegated to my “daytime” reading!

I am totally onboard the whole MindWar issue as it makes sense to me (especially when compared to things of a Biblical nature). I hope the thread will be a contender for a pin. At the risk of sounding Pollyanish, I must be honest: I am really looking forward to reading some encouragement. I was wondering if there was anything proactive happening or anything that I could do to take steps to protect me and mine. :)

EDIT TO ADD: Thank you also for sharing Root and Bough. I enjoyed that...

I was wondering if there was anything proactive happening or anything that I could do to take steps to protect me and mine. :)
I can name a few small things that you can do.

1. Never use "buyers club cards" from any store.
2. Never sign up for a "rewards program" from any store.
3. Never provide your phone number or address when making purchases.
4. Pay cash whenever possible.

By doing these four simple things, you are denying access to critical information from people that could use it for nefarious means.  Also, those little cards and reward programs are a scam. Sure, you can save a few bucks by using those things, but ask yourself this- How much is your liberty worth? Are you willing to sell yourself out for a few measly FRNS? The stores collect data to sell to any and all comers. Government included!

I'm sure that there are many other things that can be done. It's all about doing whatever you can to keep as much information about you and yours as "off-grid" as possible.

Pretty much every person on these boards is on some type of government watchlist. Not because any of us have done anything, but because we have overcome the indoctrination and are deemed a threat by TPTB. We can think for ourselves!! Seemingly innocuous gathered data can EASILY be turned into a reason to lock you up, if they so desired. Don't make it easy for the bastards! Make em' WORK for it! :threvil:

Let's lay in a bit more detail, and then perhaps we can move into discussion of proactive solutions which may be possible for we little people to embrace individually in our personal lives and routines.

A multinational security firm has secretly developed software capable of tracking people's movements and predicting future behaviour by mining data from social networking websites.

A video obtained by the Guardian reveals how an "extreme-scale analytics" system created by Raytheon, the world's fifth largest defence contractor, can gather vast amounts of information about people from websites including Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare.

Raytheon says it has not sold the software - named Riot, or Rapid Information Overlay Technology - to any clients. But the Massachusetts-based company has acknowledged the technology was shared with US government and industry as part of a joint research and development effort, in 2010, to help build a national security system capable of analysing "trillions of entities" from cyberspace.

Google and NASA Snap Up Quantum Computer D-Wave Two
The machine will help the agencies work on artificial intelligence problems
May 17, 2013

D-Wave, the small company that sells the world’s only commercial quantum computer, has just bagged an impressive new customer: a collaboration between Google, NASA and the non-profit Universities Space Research Association.
The three organizations have joined forces to install a D-Wave Two, the computer company's latest model, in a facility launched by the collaboration — the Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California. The lab will explore areas such as machine learning — making computers sort and analyse data on the basis of previous experience. This is useful for functions such as language translation, image searches and voice-command recognition. “We actually think quantum machine learning may provide the most creative problem-solving process under the known laws of physics,” says a blog post from Google describing the deal.
The Google-led collaboration is only the second customer to buy computer from D-Wave, which is based in Burnaby, Canada. Aerospace giant Lockheed Martin, headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, was the first. Lockheed purchased a D-Wave quantum computer in 2011 and installed it in a new Quantum Computation Center at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. D-Wave declines to disclose the price of their computers.

There are several headlines in this one article by Mike Adams. I recommend highly reading this entire article at its link:

Skynet rising: Google acquires 512-qubit quantum computer; NSA surveillance to be turned over to AI machines

Thursday, June 20, 2013  *  by Mike Adams

(NaturalNews) Most people don't know about the existence of quantum computers. Almost no one understands how they work, but theories include bizarre-sounding explanations like, "they reach into alternate universes to derive the correct answers to highly complex computational problems."

Quantum computers are not made of simple transistors and logic gates like the CPU on your PC. They don't even function in ways that seem rational to a typical computing engineer. Almost magically, quantum computers take logarithmic problems and transform them into "flat" computations whose answers seem to appear from an alternate dimension.

For example, a mathematical problem that might have 2 to the power of n possible solutions -- where n is a large number like 1024 -- might take a traditional computer longer than the age of the universe to solve. A quantum computer, on the other hand, might solve the same problem in mere minutes because it quite literally operates across multiple dimensions simultaneously.
The ultimate code breakers
If you know anything about encryption, you probably also realize that quantum computers are the secret KEY to unlocking all encrypted files. As I wrote about last year here on Natural News, once quantum computers go into widespread use by the NSA, the CIA, Google, etc., there will be no more secrets kept from the government. All your files -- even encrypted files -- will be easily opened and read.

Until now, most people believed this day was far away. Quantum computing is an "impractical pipe dream," we've been told by scowling scientists and "flat Earth" computer engineers. "It's not possible to build a 512-qubit quantum computer that actually works," they insisted.

Don't tell that to Eric Ladizinsky, co-founder and chief scientist of a company called D-Wave. Because Ladizinsky's team has already built a 512-qubit quantum computer. And they're already selling them to wealthy corporations, too.
DARPA, Northrup Grumman and Goldman Sachs
In case you're wondering where Ladizinsky came from, he's a former employee of Northrup Grumman Space Technology (yes, a weapons manufacturer) where he ran a multi-million-dollar quantum computing research project for none other than DARPA -- the same group working on AI-driven armed assault vehicles and battlefield robots to replace human soldiers. DARPA is the group behind the creepy "Legged Squad Support System" you can see in the following video:

INSERT DARPA VIDEO:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY42w1w0TWk

Imagine a .50 caliber machine gun mounted on this robot -- with an infrared night vision AI targeting system -- and you begin to understand what DARPA has in mind for humanity.

D-Wave wants to provide the computing power for such endeavors, and it's no surprise to learn that part of the funding for D-Wave comes from none other than Goldman Sachs -- the king of the global criminal banking cabal.
Beware of genius scientists who lack wisdom for humanity
Ladizinsky is, by any measure, a person of extremely high intelligence. Click here to see a fascinating interview with him. But like many such people throughout history, Ladizinsky fails to have the foresight to recognize the full implications of the technology he's building. And those implications are so far-reaching and dangerous that they may actually lead to the destruction of humanity (see below).

One of IBM's first use of the solid-state computer in the early 20th century, for example, was to license it to the Nazi regime to track Jewish prisoners in Hitler's concentration camps. There's an entire book on this subject, written by Edwin Black. It's called IBM and the Holocaust: The Strategic Alliance Between Nazi Germany and America's Most Powerful Corporation-Expanded Edition.

When groundbreaking new technology is developed by smart people, it almost immediately gets turned into a weapon. Quantum computing will be no different. This technology grants God-like powers to police state governments that seek to dominate and oppress the People. Very few scientists, no matter how smart they are in their own fields, have the breadth of historical knowledge to assess their research activities in the proper context of human history. Most scientists, in fact, are only smart in their own extremely narrow fields of expertise. Outside that "genius zone," they may be complete novices on everyday subjects like nutrition, economics, human psychology, social interaction skills and how to read the true intentions of others. Thus, they are quite often easily tricked into working for evil, destructive or domineering forces such as Hitler, the NSA or the U.S. government. Just because a person is really smart in one area doesn't mean they have the street sense to avoid having their smarts exploited for an evil agenda.
Google acquires "Skynet" quantum computers from D-Wave
According to an article published in Scientific American, Google and NASA have now teamed up to purchase a 512-qubit quantum computer from D-Wave. The computer is called "D-Wave Two" because it's the second generation of the system. The first system was a 128-qubit computer. Gen two is now a 512-qubit computer.

This does not mean the gen two system is merely four times more powerful than the gen one system. Thanks to the nature of qubits, it's actually 2 to the power of 384 times more powerful (2384) than the gen one system. In other words, it out-computes the first D-Wave computer by a factor so large that you can't even imagine it in your human brain.

According to Google and NASA, this computer will be tasked with research in the realm of "machine learning" -- i.e. machines learning how to think for themselves. It's not just speech recognition, vision recognition and teaching robotic Humvees with .50-caliber machine guns how to stalk and shoot "enemy combatants" on the streets of America, either: it's teaching machines how to learn and think for themselves.

Using your human brain, think for a moment about where such technology is most likely to be applied by a government that respects no human rights, no law and no limits on its power.
(end quoted passages from that article -- highly recommend reading the whole thing)

Indefinite Surveillance: Say Hello to the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014

Passed in 1978, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) set the groundwork for surveillance, collection, and analysis of intelligence gathered from foreign powers and agents of foreign powers, up to and including any individual residing within the U.S., who were suspected of involvement in potential terrorist activity.  On October 26, 2001, a little over a month after 9/11, President George W. Bush signed the USA Patriot Act into law. Two provisions, Sec. 206, permitting government to obtain secret court orders allowing roving wiretaps without requiring identification of the person, organization, or facility to be surveyed, and Sec. 215 authorizing government to access and obtain “any tangible thing” relevant to a terrorist investigation, transformed foreign intelligence into domestic intelligence.
NDAA 2014 builds on the powers granted by both the Patriot Act and FISA by allowing unrestricted analysis and research of captured records pertaining to any organization or individual “now or once hostile to the United States”.  Under the Patriot Act, the ability to obtain “any tangible thing” eliminated any expectation of privacy.  Under NDAA 2014 Sec. 1061(g)(1), an overly vague definition of captured records enhances government power and guarantees indefinite surveillance.
On May 22, 2013 the Subcommittee on Intelligence, Emerging Threats and Capabilities, one of several Armed Services Committees, met to discuss the National Defense Authorization Act(NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2014.  The main subject of the hearing was Sec. 1061, otherwise known as Enhancement of Capacity of the United States Government to Analyze Captured Records. This enhancement provision of   NDAA 2014 would effectively create a new intelligence agency, one with the authority to analyze information gained under the Patriot Act, FISA, and known spying programs such as PRISM.
Sec. 1061(a) authorizes the Secretary of Defense to “establish a center to be known as the ‘Conflict Records Research Center’” (Center). The main purpose of the center, according to the bill text, is to create a “digital research database,” one with the capability to “translate” and facilitate research on “records captured from countries, organizations and individuals, now or once hostile to the United States.” The authorization also says the Center will conduct research and analysis to “increase the understanding of factors related to international relations, counterterrorism and conventional and unconventional warfare, and ultimately, enhance national security.”

NSA Spying On Americans EFF 2014
https://www.eff.org/nsa-spying

News reports in December 2005 first revealed that the National Security Agency (NSA) has been intercepting Americans’ phone calls and Internet communications. Those news reports, combined with a USA Today story in May 2006 and the statements of several members of Congress, revealed that the NSA is also receiving wholesale copies of American's telephone and other communications records. All of these surveillance activities are in violation of the privacy safeguards established by Congress and the US Constitution.
In early 2006, EFF obtained whistleblower evidence (.pdf) from former AT&T technician Mark Klein showing that AT&T is cooperating with the illegal surveillance. The undisputed documents show that AT&T installed a fiberoptic splitter at its facility at 611 Folsom Street in San Francisco that makes copies of all emails web browsing and other Internet traffic to and from AT&T customers and provides those copies to the NSA. This copying includes both domestic and international Internet activities of AT&T customers. As one expert observed, “this isn’t a wiretap, it’s a country-tap.”
Secret government documents, published by the media in 2013, confirm the NSA obtains full copies of everything that is carried along major domestic fiber optic cable networks.  In June 2013, the media, led by the Guardian and Washington Post started publishing a series of articles, along with full government documents, that have confirmed much of what was reported in 2005 and 2006 and then some. The reports showed-and the government later admitted -that the government is mass collecting phone metadata of all US customers under the guise of the Patriot Act. Moreover, the media reports confirm that the government is collecting and analyzing the content of communications of foreigners talking to persons inside the United States, as well as collecting collecting much more, without a probable cause warrant. Finally, the media reports confirm the “upstream” collection off of the fiberoptic cables that Mr. Klein first revealed in 2006.

NSA seeks to develop quantum computer to crack nearly every kind of encryption
January 3, 2014

http://www.kurzweilai.net/nsa-seeks-to-develop-quantum-computer-to-crack-nearly-every-kind-of-encryption

.... the core of a future NSA quantum computer for cracking nearly every kind of encryption used to protect banking, medical, business and government records around the world?

According to documents provided by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, the effort to build “a cryptologically useful quantum computer” is part of a $79.7 million research program titled “Penetrating Hard Targets,” The Washington Post revealed Thursday.

Much of the work is hosted under classified contracts at this laboratory, the newspaper says. On its website, the lab mentions its work on quantum mechanical effects in superconducting circuits at a temperature of about 10 mK (barely above absolute zero), using a superconducting charge qubit or Cooper-pair box.

According to the Post, the NSA is expected to be able to have some building blocks by the end of September, which it described in a document as “dynamical decoupling and complete quantum control on two semiconductor qubits.”

Another project, called “Owning the Net,” aims at quantum-based attacks on encryptions, the Post says.

“The application of quantum technologies to encryption algorithms threatens to dramatically impact the US government’s ability to both protect its communications and eavesdrop on the communications of foreign governments,” the Post said, based on an internal document provided by Snowden.
