MindWar
« on: December 17, 2014, 07:21:03 am »

It will take a lot of posts here to get the basics all laid in, but I will begin the task now. The world at large is the backdrop we’ll have to use to get this down on paper.

MindWar is a specific program which was born in the U.S. Army's 7th Psychological Operations Group. MindWar as a concept has been with the Army and by extension has been with the Intelligence community since 1980. I also wish to remind readers that MindWar, by its own definition, targets all minds on earth including the minds of American citizens. I am taking a close look at a public figure, a retired US Major General, Paul E. Vallely, and I am looking at his relationship to MindWar.

With that much in mind, let us cast far afield now, and step by step reel it in.

On November 12 2008 Steven Aftergood, who is the director of the Federation of American Scientists’ “Secrecy Project” and an outstanding patriot, published an article which linked an Army Field Manual of 248 pages. The Manual is on Unconventional Warfare. (Quoting from below link)
Army Rethinks Unconventional Warfare  *  http://blogs.fas.org/secrecy/2008/11/unconventional/

The conduct of unconventional warfare is explored in depth in a major new U.S. Army Field Manual on the subject (pdf). <  http://fas.org/irp/doddir/army/fm3-05-130.pdf  >  (Download that pdf while it's still available, yes?)

Unconventional warfare (UW) is defined as “Operations conducted by, with, or through irregular forces in support of a resistance movement, an insurgency, or conventional military operations… This definition reflects two essential criteria: UW must be conducted by, with, or through surrogates; and such surrogates must be irregular forces.”

(end quoted passage from Federation of American Scientists)

Looking into that large document we learn many astonishing things. For one thing, we find therein the verification that the US Military is targeting American citizens at large with Psychological Operations of various types. The Army has “psy-warriors”, and the Army has NORTHCOM sitting right there in Colorado on “domestic duty”, aimed at behavior control of large numbers of citizens. Bear that in mind.

Psy-warriors sometimes “handle” “surrogates”. Surrogates may include “terrorists”. It’s all in the document, and much more. I would remind readers that under MindWar’s all-encompassing war zone, which is the whole world including We The People of America, Unconventional Warfare is a force multiplier. Unconventional Warfare is available as an asset to the MindWar operative.

The pdf is 248 pages. Following excerpts are taken from an article published by Oath Keepers in 2011.
PSYOP specialists are military soldiers specializing in psychological operations, so they are interfaced at times with Intelligence community black operations on the clandestine battleground. That is one of the reasons why the Army’s manual on UW stresses the absolute need to work through surrogates. (i.e., various types of criminals, compromised persons, drug smugglers, money launderers, terrorists).

A surrogate, as we gather, is to have a “handler”. The handler causes the surrogate to be motivated to do certain things which will lead to media and press releases which will influence the perception of the public mind. The handler would be a book-trained sort of black ops specialist of the type who would work in the FBI or CIA. Or – one who would work as an Unconventional Warfare operative, either on active duty within the military or as private sector specialty companies. But let us certainly note that government’s psychological operations are admittedly focusing on “such social dynamics as tribal politics, social networks, religious influences, and cultural mores.” Let us never forget that.

Our UW warriors (“psy-warriors”) do many other things as well. These soldiers or agents mingle and work with the media and press, for instance. They create tv and radio programming and make up press releases and other beneficial activities such as running columns in newspapers. They manufacture and distribute “influence” for public consumption. They may publish pamphlets and fliers, letters to editors, etc. They may call into talk-radio shows, even sometimes run radio stations. They will back factions. Call it “national security” or “advertising” or “propaganda”, or call it “UW” – it’s inclusively one and the same. And it is interlinked. By design.

Handlers use surrogates as assets. The Army’s UW document shows how and why. Let us notice briefly, from the document itself:

“Irregulars, or irregular forces, are individuals or groups of individuals who are not members of a regular armed force, police, or other internal security force. They are usually nonstatesponsored and unconstrained by sovereign nation legalities and boundaries. These forces may include, but are not limited to, specific paramilitary forces, contractors, individuals, businesses, foreign political organizations, resistance or insurgent organizations, expatriates, transnational terrorism adversaries, disillusioned transnational terrorism members, black marketers, and other social or political “undesirables.”  (Unconventional Warfare, p. 1-3)

Please note that UW openly admits using terrorists as “surrogates”.

Let that one sink in for a moment. Our government admits using terrorists as surrogates in Unconventional Warfare.

Psy-ops warriors, Unconventional Warfare ‘handlers’, are expected to manipulate terrorists as surrogates for carrying out psychological operations missions.

There is something else named in the Army’s UW document – “Irregular Warfare” (IW). The two – UW and IW – are not to be confused or seen as varied names for the same kind of mischief. Irregular Warfare is its own distinct psychological warfare system. From the document:
[Irregular Warfare – IW] also relies on the understanding of such social dynamics as tribal politics, social networks, religious influences, and cultural mores. Although IW is a violent struggle, not all participating irregulars or irregular forces are necessarily armed. People, more so than weaponry, platforms, and advanced technology, will be the key to success in IW. Successful IW relies on building relationships and partnerships at the local level. It takes patient, persistent, and culturally savvy people within the joint force to execute IW. (from U.S. Army manual on Unconventional Warfare, p. 1-5)
-

Paraphrase: The taxpayer’s government is now financing Army psy-warriors in official activeduty, ranked and filed duty-stations of military capacity to be working on building relationships and partnerships with citizens like each of us at the local level. Ideal candidates for Psy-warrior assignment would be “culturally savvy”. This is coming directly from the U.S. Army itself. Earlier we spoke of the Founders’ preference against having a standing army. The Founders’ wisdom now confronts our apathy as we awaken to see what we have allowed to develop unawares.

Some may state that all of this Unconventional Warfare and Irregular Warfare and Special Operations and Black Operations, all of it, is only to be used on America’s “enemies”. Aside from the fact that the only enemies we have are those whom we’ve deliberately agitated into becoming our enemies, we note that MindWar’s target, by General Vallely’s own definition, includes the American people as a whole.

I do not think that the Army can wriggle out of that one. Cat’s out of the bag.

Ah, they will say, “but the Army has not declared MindWar!”

To that I must retort – MindWar is not meant to be “declared”, for to declare it is to instantly render it impotent. When the target consciousness knows it is being targeted, it shores up automatically, rendering MindWar impotent. But further, all of the compositional elements for MindWar operations are clearly now in existence and under a chain of command, as well as plans for sharing authority with a civilian department named the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Let’s look at a bit more from the angle of Unconventional Warfare, just to get our picture focused and clear.

The following is found on page ii of the Contents section of the Army manual. It is a directory for the paper’s Appendix. It is in all-caps below because that is just how the Army has published it. Please note the “attitude” carried inherently by the titles of the various appendixes. That “attitude” is a red flag to me, and is a taunt to the legacy of our nation’s Founders. Yet this is what Army feeds our soldiers who win assignments in Psychological Operations and Unconventional Warfare. Are we, as Americans, all about “National Power”? What happened to States’ sovereignty, the Tenth Amendment, and “Power To The People”? Did those sentiments die and fade away? The questions should be asked. See this:

Isn’t that remarkable? Here is a bit more from the Internet:

US Army UW at Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unconventional_warfare_%28United_States_Department_of_Defen se_doctrine%29

UW was the first mission assigned to United States Army Special Forces when they were formed in 1952; they now have additional missions, including foreign internal defense (FID).[2] In the United States, “special forces” refers specifically to the United States Army Special Forces (SF), as opposed to the usage in most other countries, where “special forces” refers to the range of unit types that the U.S. calls “special operations forces” controlled by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). SF units are tasked with seven primary missions: :*unconventional warfare (United States Department of Defense doctrine) (UW)

• foreign internal defense (FID)
• special reconnaissance (SR)
• direct action (DA)
• counter-terrorism (CT)
• counter-proliferation (CP)
• psychological operations (United States) (PsyOps)

• information operations (IO).

Psychological Operations USA
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_operations_%28United_States%29

Psychological operations (PSYOP) or, as it has been known since 2010, Military Information Support Operations (MISO) are planned operations to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of governments, organizations, groups, and individuals.

The purpose of United States psychological operations is to induce or reinforce behavior favorable to US objectives. They are an important part of the range of diplomatic, informational, military, and economic activities available to the US. They can be utilized during both peacetime and conflict. There are three main types: strategic, operational, and tactical. Strategic PSYOP include informational activities conducted by the US government agencies outside of the military arena, though many utilize Department of Defense (DOD) assets. Operational PSYOP are conducted across the range of military operations, including during peacetime, in a defined operational area to promote the effectiveness of the joint force commander’s (JFC) campaigns and strategies. Tactical PSYOP are conducted in the area assigned to a tactical commander across the range of military operations to support the tactical mission against opposing forces.

When contemplating today’s MindWar theater we may also want to recall the Joint Chiefs of Staff from the year 1962. They were in agreement that psy-ops plans using our military’s special forces and CIA personnel to create a wave of terrorism (which would blow up buildings in American cities, killing innocent American citizens), to exact a desired public response, were certainly permissible under that ‘old adage‘ concept which states – “The ends justify the means.”

Most of my readers already know about the Northwoods Document, but perhaps many of our newer members have yet to learn about it. Note that this happened in 1962. Let’s get into it.

Book: U.S. Military Drafted Plans to Terrorize U.S. Cities to Provoke War With Cuba
By David Ruppe * N E W Y O R K, May 1, 2001

In the early 1960s, America’s top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba. Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities. The plans were developed as ways to trick the American public and the international community into supporting a war to oust Cuba’s then new leader, communist Fidel Castro. America’s top military brass even contemplated causing U.S. military casualties, writing: “We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba,” and, “casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation.” Details of the plans are described in Body of Secrets (Doubleday), a new book by investigative reporter James Bamford about the history of America’s largest spy agency, the National Security Agency. …The plans had the written approval of all of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and were presented to President Kennedy’s defense secretary, Robert McNamara, in March 1962. But they apparently were rejected by the civilian leadership and have gone undisclosed for nearly 40 years.

(end quoted passages from ABC News article.)

It is highly recommended that we each read the Northwoods document which James Bamford uncovered while researching for his books. ABC News was being as nice as they could be under the circumstances, in using the word “reportedly” – but the story is much more definite than that. The Joint Chiefs of Staff most definitely did draw up such a plan. This link to the ABC News article is good as of early April, 2014.
>>>embedded link – http://abcnews.go.com/US/print?id=92662

And here is the document itself, as a pdf, courtesy of George Washington University. If you have never read this document, please by all means take a pause here and read it. It’s only a few pages, about thirteen, but it is one of the most important documents you’ll ever read.

http://www2.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/news/20010430/northwoods.pdf

World War II had ended seventeen years prior to the writing of this document. The arms industry had over-ramped by the end of the war, and a recession was assured if too many Defense contracting small businesses were suddenly closed down due to “peace”, so the need for more warfare was obvious to the business sector. The military brass wanted to invade Cuba, and Eisenhower had granted CIA the initial finding to do so. CIA was still preparing for how to do that when Kennedy came to office and sent Ike’s finding forward for DCI Allen Dulles, General Cabal, and Richard Bissell. Under the rubric of “Unconventional Warfare” the Joint Chiefs of Staff sent up to McNamara and Kennedy a plan to create a wave of terrorism in U.S. cities, blow up an American ship, blow up an American airplane, and blame all of it on Cuba.

They were talking about killing innocent Americans in U.S. cities and blaming their deaths on Cuba. The idea was to influence the American people to support an invasion of Cuba, which, without that wave of terrorism at that time, the American people would not support. The plan would be a psychological operation under auspices of Unconventional Warfare (UW).

The Northwoods document’s significance to us here is that it undeniably proves that our Federal government and Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and Department of State will each and all not only lie to the American people to perpetuate US POWER, but will also order terrorist strikes even against Americans here in our own country, on U.S. soil.

Please read that document in full. Why? Because we must understand that our government will deliberately commit acts of terrorism here on U.S. soil, and because something just that evil is afoot today. We must prepare our minds to accept how methodically evil our government has become in certain departments and agencies. Even if we take the “D” out of the word “Devil”, we still have “Evil”. And even if we add a small “o” to the word “God”, we still have “Good”.

Psy-War, MindWar, Unconventional Warfare, Irregular Warfare, Special Ops, Black Ops, all go beyond our older understanding of the term “Covert Operations”. The MindWar operations of the US Military are of course kept shrouded in secrecy, but individuals have the courage to admit that such evils exist inside departments of our government.

“NSA surveillance is reality, it is unstoppable, and it is one of the undeniable preludes and force multipliers to MindWar being waged upon the American people.”

We must always remember that Generals have intimate contact with the emissaries of the Military-Industrial Complex.

President Eisenhower cautioned us to be wary. We weren’t. Now we’re in deep.

How Covert Agents Infiltrate the Internet to Manipulate, Deceive, and Destroy Reputations

By Glenn Greenwald 24 Feb 2014, 6:25 PM EDT

https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/

Also, link for the pics in scroll: https://firstlook.org/theintercept/document/2014/02/24/art-deceptiontraining-new-generation-online-covert-operations/

(quoting)
One of the many pressing stories that remains to be told from the Snowden archive is how western intelligence agencies are attempting to manipulate and control online discourse with extreme tactics of deception and reputation-destruction. It’s time to tell a chunk of that story, complete with the relevant documents. Over the last several weeks, I worked with NBC News to publish a series of articles about “dirty trick” tactics used by GCHQ’s previously secret unit, JTRIG (Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group). These were based on four classified GCHQ documents presented to the NSA and the other three partners in the English-speaking “Five Eyes” alliance. Today, we at the Intercept are publishing another new JTRIG document, in full, entitled “The Art of Deception: Training for Online Covert Operations.”

I want to focus and elaborate on the overarching point revealed by all of these documents: namely, that these agencies are attempting to control, infiltrate, manipulate, and warp online discourse, and in doing so, are compromising the integrity of the internet itself.

Among the core self-identified purposes of JTRIG are two tactics: (1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable. To see how extremist these programs are, just consider the tactics they boast of using to achieve those ends: “false flag operations” (posting material to the internet and falsely attributing it to someone else), fake victim blog posts (pretending to be a victim of the individual whose reputation they want to destroy), and posting “negative information” on various forums…

The infrastructure which would set the tone of, and shape the character of, an ongoing massive war on the collective consciousness of the American people embodies every agency, group, and coterie mentioned in the preceding paragraphs. It is also interfaced with the internationalists at the United Nations (UN), with foreign banking, with the European Union, as well as with the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Bilderberg group, the British RIIA, with many international and multi-national corporations, and with others such as the Club of Rome etc. That infrastructure defines objectives for its own existence and expansion. How that infrastructure, which itself is the military-industrial complex as a whole with inter-related external forces vying for favor and profit, arrives at definition is more a mechanical manifestation of proactive marketplace forces than a logical process.

That infrastructure has little use for the human spirit, or for how humans engage life processes. It is a meta-robotic phenomenon. We will give an example:

Government, being enacted by humans who occupy various offices of governance, ‘perceives’ (through the minds of government employees) that it was created in part to provide certain types of “security” for the governed. We can all relate to that simple observation.

But a perceived need for security might spawn a perceived need for a standing army, despite the expressed wishes of the Founders. The perceived need for a favorable consensus in the public sector spawned a perceived need for a public relations (propaganda) operation designed to influence the perception of the collective public consciousness in ways favorable to the desired shift in policy. The perceived need for public relations ‘product’ (the influencing of the public mindset) spawned, over many decades, the perceived need for the perceived standing army to create and operate Psychological Operations groups inside the US military (and its contracting private sector accomplices), which train “psy-warriors” whose orders include not only spying on the American people but also lying to the American people. It is MindWar.

While it is sometimes referred to as “mind control” the military calls it an aspect of “Operations Other Than War (OOTW)”.

OOTW among other activities, is conducted as element(s) of Unconventional Warfare and Special Operations and Irregular Warfare.

All of those alien-sounding terms fit nicely into MindWar, as we shall see. And they are all being implemented by the US military. This extreme psychological aggression is clearly outside any parameters our Founders would condone under any circumstance.

Let us look at some random selections to hone our fears. Here are some studies which show government’s interest in what we the people may think:

It would take time and expertise to convince people to dissolve their Militia of the several States and accept in its place a standing army. The process by which the public mindset, the public perception, was altered/changed was gradual but effective, so that now, more than twenty-three decades after this nation’s founding, nobody hardly ever speaks against the “standing army” – they just accept it, or, worse, remain oblivious to it.

It is good to remember what the Founders intended. Because I do try to learn and remember, I participated strongly in the documentary film based on Dr. Edwin Vieira, Jr.’s book, “The Sword And Sovereignty”, which is a 2400 page tome of the history of the Militia in America. The film, MOLON LABE! How The Second Amendment Guarantees America’s Freedom”, is available here, and incorporates the knowledge presented by Dr. Vieira in the book. The book and the movie are both excellent sources for direct knowledge of our Constitution, the Militia, and the American Spirit.

So now let us get down to brass tacks.

Let us be clear:

“The “means by which” we “process information” “to make up (our) minds” is to be “adjusted” so our minds are made up as our overseers desire. They will use our media to do it to us.”

Re: MindWar

In 1980 General Vallely was a Colonel in the US Army’s 7th Psychological Operations group. Also in 7th PsyOp group in 1980 was a Major named Michael Aquino, who co-authored with then-Colonel Paul E. Vallely a paper named “From PSYOP to MindWar: The Psychology of Victory”.

Major Aquino was Colonel Vallely’s “PSYOP Research & Analysis Team Leader”. Some years later, Aquino wrote an introduction to the pdf of that PSYOP to MindWar paper, which can be found online. And finally, last year, in 2013, Aquino himself, without any overt help from General Vallely, published a book named “MindWar” as a carry-over from the paper they coauthored in 1980. Get your copy at Amazon dot com, (or don’t). I bought a copy so you would not have to. Just know that the book is real, it exists, and was written by the same guy who co-wrote, thirty-four years ago, the infamous paper mentioned above

When we speak the term “MindWar”, we’re using a word created by two men, one of whom is retired US Army Colonel Michael Aquino. (The other was Major Richard Sutter.) In a footnote on page 26 of his 2013 book entitled “MindWar”, Aquino says that he and Sutter had seen the movie Star Wars in 1977 and “…we imagined a play on its name as a futuristic replacement for the bland Army term “Psychological Operations”.

We want to pause to make clear that General Vallely does not, and did not in 1980, share Colonel Aquino’s religious beliefs. General Vallely has published on his site an explanation of how some people are tangling up their threads of association by accusing General Vallely of being a Satanist just because he once worked with one. Yes, Colonel Aquino was a big figure in the Church of Satan and later, when that Church of Satan closed, Aquino formed its successor, the Temple of Set. Aquino is a high priest in the worship of Satan, and was throughout his career in the US Army. General Vallely led the investigation for the Army which verified that.

Perhaps we should pause here and view a brief video of the Satanist Aquino, co-author of MindWar, on the Geraldo show –

http://youtu.be/sCvP9OdGySw

So there we have a glimpse of Michael Aquino, the guy who coined the word “MindWar” with then-Colonel Paul E. Vallely and wrote the book of that name last year, in 2013.

But as noted, General Vallely had no interest in Aquino’s religion, other than to verify for the Army that Aquino worshiped Satan.

Although that is fairly sick stuff, the shallow-minded folks on the Internet who are associating General Vallely with the Church of Satan or its successor, the Temple of Set, are spreading mis-info on the Net. I want everyone to understand clearly that General Vallely has nothing to do with worshiping Satan or with Aquino’s Temple of Set.

Now I would like to share with readers the following paragraphs from page 26 in Aquino’s book:

“Within the US military, PSYOP has habitually been relegated to a back-seat as a ‘force multiplier’. The principle strategic decisions are made in consideration of traditional political and military interests and goals. Only then is PSYOP invited to the table, to help achieve already-agreed-upon missions more efficiently. “[General] Vallely’s and my original concept of MW [MindWar] reverses this sequence. Psychological means for achieving victory – essentially through convincing the enemy that he really wants to bring his policies and goals into harmony with ours – are first fashioned in support of basic political realities. The use of ‘ordinary’ military force (bombs, bullets, etc.) is regarded as a ‘last resort’ in circumstances wherein MW by itself fails.

“The immediate advantage of that 1980 concept of MW is that it conducts wars in non-lethal, non-injurious, and non-destructive ways. Essentially, you overwhelm your enemy with argument. You seize control of all of the means by which his government and populace process information to make up their minds, and you adjust it so that those minds are made up as you desire. Everyone is happy, no one gets hurt or killed, and nothing is destroyed.” [Emphasis in original; parentheses are Aquino’s, brackets are mine.]

I am not saying that General Vallely believes that today, and I hope he does not, but I do note that he signed off on that paper himself some thirty-four years ago. In fact, he co-wrote it.

But please don’t think that General Vallely is the spearhead of that kind of evil. The Army has all sorts of MindWar assets already in place. Psyops has been involved with remote viewing and other para-psychological fields including much “occult magic”. Numerous field-grade officers have experience in such fields through their work in PSYOP divisions of the Army. Also, private sector think tanks handle such topics, as do elements of our Intelligence community. As the Washington Post has defined clearly, countless offices and agencies and departments and corporations are working on such things as we speak. Here is that link again:

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/top-secret-america/network/#/overall/most-activity/

Just as God and the Devil (or “Good” and “Evil”) compete for favor in the individual’s mind; just as the Republican Party and the Democrat Party compete for favor in the individual’s mind; just as the world’s religions compete for favor in the individual’s mind; just as myriad corporations compete for favor in the individual’s mind – all powers in society have an interest in maintaining popular acceptance in the public mind, the group mind, the “collective consciousness” of any group; indeed, of any city, State, or country, and in your mind as an individual.

Okay. I have a lot more to place on this thread, but let's take a break at this point before going further.
I may go back into the above posts to edit for bold/italics and spacing, or other means of accenting some thoughts for the reader.  I noticed that I'm unable to post videos here, so if anyone here knows how to do that on this forum please let me know, so we won't have to go trucking about on the Net to view supporting video imagery. Thanks!

I had never heard about Valeley being associated with satanism.  I first heard of him because of his recent attempts to incite patriot groups to attempt a coup.  It didn't take long to find out about his career in PSYOPS, which made the already smelly event stink to high heaven.

I think the primary goal of his yet-another-armed-march-on-DC was to identify people.  I wonder if the Satanist angle was another deliberate "leak" to further divide and identify people.  In this case, patriots with stronger religious motivations.

Hey Klapton,
Don't make that association -- that Vallely is involved with Satanism. He is not. In fact he was the officer, superior over Aquino, whom the Army charged with investigating Aquino. The investigation was rather easy, as Aquino was always glad to share his faith with anyone who would listen, and he never denied it.  But Vallely and Acquino both worked on the paper, From Psy-Op To MIndWar, however, and it is totally fair to note that the U.S. Army did not give a damn that a blazing Satanist was working in one of the Psy-Op Groups. That speaks tons for organized hierarchy in a standing army, yes? Government, in any format, is methodical, indifferent, and is no respecter of persons, as this example from the standing army shows.

After we lay in some more details and filler material, I'll get back to Vallely's role in the ill-fated "Operation American Spring". I've got a lot on that, and also a lot on other escapades by the good General, including his adventures abroad and his notions for commandeering the Tea Party, but first we'll want to get into some of the more juicy aspects of our dearly beloved Intelligence community. We should, er, get ACQUAINTED. ;)

It is important that on this thread there is absolutely no inference that Vallely is in any way associated with Satanism. He is not, at least not to my knowledge. But of course, one does not have to worship the devil to do the devil's work. One other note: This whole topic is not about Vallely other than the fact that he signed off on the remarkable document on MindWar back in 1980. We will look at that paper more closely shortly.

Salute!

Yeah, I got that.  I'm simply saying that I never heard that particular bit of hysteria, and question where it came from (i.e. was that also planned as part of the overall agenda).

There is quite a bit to absorb there. I downloaded the US Army Unconventional Warfare TM and will be reading it…

But...

{And you may very well already be planning on addressing this…}

If every source of Data outside of the tiny window on the world that our own senses provide…

If everyone and everything except myself is either already co-opted or soon will be co-opted or at the very least must be suspected of being co-opted…

How do I winnow the Spin-Doctored Chaff from the Grains of Truth?

Is there some sort of Social Sieve of Eratosthenes that can be applied to news of the outside world? Or is the answer to ignore and shut out nearly everything?

Personally, I take it all in. My bullshit detector is always running full tilt. I take in the information as if everything is a lie. If some tidbit of information interests me, I try to verify that information from as many sources as I can find.

Some things, I do tune out. No offence to Elias, but I find the religious angle to all of this to be off putting. An example, is this passage- "Even if we take the “D” out of the word “Devil”, we still have “Evil”. And even if we add a small “o” to the word “God”, we still have “Good”." I'm not going to post my reasons for finding that off putting here (they are posted elsewhere if someone cares to look), but that doesn't mean that I will stop reading it. You can't tune out ALL information and expect to grow. If nothing else, it allows you to understand someone else's point of view.

Elias,

Thank you for taking the time and effort to post this stuff. I look forward to your next batch.

What I've noticed about the religious folk, and especially the uber religious types, is that if you "come out of the closet" about wanting freedom FOR EVERYONE, not just Christians or their chosen religious branch or sect... the alliance/friendship/love affair for freedom, ends.  I've met so few who weren't like that, I could count them on my fingers.  Of course, even among our own, (and I've quit the church permanently now, or rather the last one I attended decided to be placed right next to all the other ones I've quit in disgust) churchfolk fight each other over this interpretation, or that interpretation.  If you are okay with women wearing pants, the baptists quit you.  If you're okay with gays, pretty much all of them quit you.  If you cuss a bit here and there pretty much the whole gang gets easily offended, Christians and Muslims the most (with Muslims, in my experience being the more forgiving, regardless of what the media says), and Jews less offended unless you didn't lube your Uzi with still warm Palestinian blood, cussin' is fuck'n A in the books of the ones I've known, very thick skins, but still with an available berserk button if someone ever wanted to push one.  (IDF types, jewish or not will get that Uzi lube joke, American Jews... not so much.)

(Ironically some of the best people I've known have been the cussin' types, the prissies tend to also be the people who blow polite smoke up your ass and then actually are most likely to stab you in the back, just personal experience, YMMV)

We don't need government to divide and conquer.  Church "leaders" have done so for fun and profit since back when the first band of Attilas became the first Witch Doctor's "tax" collectors.  Back then they called it "tribute" but it still started with a T, and still left you broke at the end of the day.

Observation made after original part of this post:  Atheists, and even agnostics while vehemently opposed to religion, and often for good pro-freedom reasons, are more willing to not interfere with religious folks.  Religious folks often interpret "their freedom" as their freedom to get in everyone's faces preaching things they often don't practice themselves, usually at government and policy gunpoint.  I'm not pulling this out of my ass, either:   I know exactly 2 preachers who practice what they preach in my town (out of more than 2 dozen preachers out here), both of my friends are newcomers, like me, from far out of town, one's a gunsmith.  The rest just look for reasons to be superior to you.  And the most hypocritical ones are also the ones whose kids or congregation members are most snobbish and most likely to have daughters be knocked up at 14 or haze other kids because their families have been in town longer than the kids they're picking on.  (At least three of those in my town, and you can't reach their noses with a damn ladder!!!!)

To clarify, I was in school (or rather finishing up) when the "removal of prayer from schools" bit was taken too far by knee jerking reactionaries in schools.  Instead of simply letting whoever wanted to pray, meditate or whatever, they went and decided nobody could do anything.  As it was brought up to us, those who were religious were simply not going to force everyone ELSE to pray with them.  So in fact, when it was first pitched, the idea was to practice freedom of religion (I grew up in the south, I know what its like to have those proselytizing Baptist kids treat you like scum because you read a different language Bible or didn't read one at all (lets not even TOUCH Korans or Torahs.))  That's school administration, in general a bunch of autocratic dickheads (if you ever met 'em) and not the actual legislation, which, at least where I grew up, was actually set up so nobody could force their religious views on the classroom.  You know, science, math, language, 5 days a week, religious studies at church, since, you know, tax payer dollars shouldn't be used to pay to force any particular religion down people's unwilling throats.  Its no different than the way HIPAA is misinterpreted by every bumkin and mental midget I've met at every hospital I've been to.  (I'm sure Mama Liberty can add to that.)

So while I agree with Elias on the mindwar thing, I must disagree that its all the government.  Government's full of evil power hungry psychopaths, no doubt.  But the more immediate threat, is that we have a screwy litigious culture and courts willing to permit the entry and even success of such trivial and bullshit lawsuits as to make you wonder if the whole place isn't run by people whose IQ's never grew above those of the average barnyard chicken! (Gun culture people who follow politics know this personally what with the idea of suing gun manufacturers for what idiots do with guns.)  This type of "legal" culture allows or even forces the risk averse types to take the need to cover one's ass (think HIPAA, and the prayer in school restriction) to be taken to the most infantile "I'm taking my ball and going home rather than risk a bruise" mindset.  Instead of applying rational thought and rational controls over one's facility, infantile / puerile / downright idiotic "zero tolerance" policies are instated as a blanket cover all.  This is similar to a default linux firewall done right.  ALL behavior blocked or dropped and then permitted instances are explicitly allowed by a competent administrator.  Given that most school administrati are jackasses, with few, and very notable and ADMIRABLE exceptions, they do the "default block" policy, and forget to permit/use discretion for things that AREN'T those things.  Contrary to popular belief this is due to a "lowest common denominator" target demographic for schools, rather than, as should be the case, a "highest possible aspiration for each."

(Elias, somewhere I'm pretty sure I have some other declassified books I bought at Borders, years back, and they're pretty hair raising to the average American, but to anyone who ever attended HOPE or 2600 meetings, or used to read 2600 and PHRACK magazines, this is NOTHING new.)  You know, Borders, the store that quite a few of the politically noisy super christians say they bankrupted deliberately by boycotting it because Borders management supported abortion and sex education in schools.  Seriously, the demographic with the highest divorce rate and out of wedlock pregnancies in the marriage happy side of the world (Iceland doesn't count)!!!  Bitching about teaching kids how NOT to get knocked up!!  I got that story from several uber christians who moved west for "religious freedom" (who were actually on the lam for something or another, but I never got the details, though it sounded like stuff where I certainly wouldn't do business with them.)  Obviously "religious freedom" is "freedom for me, but not for thee" with the majority of these.  When I meet the rare exceptions I befriend them, as they are fully deserving of my respect and friendship.

"Last word" on this post is this:  Just because someone hates your oppressors, doesn't mean they're your friends.  Just because someone gets a check from those who've conquered the known world, doesn't mean they stomp heads and kill newborns for the oppressors.  Choose your allies carefully.  Some of our potential allies are equally as nasty tyrants, but are upset that the scientists have usurped their power to deny reality, and they're dying to get it back.

I think that is pretty much how you have to approach any info source.  So much bullshit out there that it is just easier to start at bullshit and work back from there.

Ahhh, that is a question each human must ask of himself, yes?

The MindWar document was written -- fact.
The Army's field manual on Unconventional Warfare was written -- fact.
The NSA is caught collecting all human communications, to store them for future datamining -- fact.
The USA PATRIOT ACT of 2001 was written and passed into "law" -- fact.
The AUMF (Authorization for the Use of Military Force) was written and passed into "law" -- fact.
The NDAA-2012 was written and passed into "law" -- fact.

Etc etc etc etc.

Enough facts exist to illustrate a pattern. How each person interprets the pattern, or the significance of the pattern, is up to each individual.

Thanks!

Salute!
Elias

good work.

I have to say that I missed your long posts on the whole NWO stuff and glad you are back.
