Mother Circe sees all government as human traffickers. All victims in corporate fiction America are wards of the corporate fiction America. Mother Circe does not smile for this revelation. Fender bender, burnt toast, rape, all under the parent fictitious supervision. Mother Circe says you have two options. Allow fictional authority to steal your loins treasure, or lure fictional authority into your kirche and never let them leave. Mother Circe see's no other options. Mother Circe smiles for fictitious sanguine !

When you see the words "Sex Trafficking" on any news site, the odds are extremely high that it is huge pile of stinking bullshit.

I'm not going to waste my time watching the stupid video and debunking its absurd claims.

Here's something a lot closer to the truth:

When government thugs kidnap adolescent "children," lock them in cages, drag them into court, separate them from their families and friends, and put them into the homes of strangers, some of those "children" don't like it.  Probably most of them.

The more mature and enterprising victims manage to escape.  But now they are in deep trouble.  If they go home, or try to stay with friends, they get picked up, beaten a bit, back in a cage, back in court, back to Juvi prison or a foster home.

So they run away.  But they are kids, not yet fully schooled, not prepared to earn a living.

Sex work pays pretty well.  Like it or not, it happens.  Like it or not, most women (and men) who choose sex work do so willingly.

Are any of us "compelled" to work?  I am!  My family is addicted to food.  Am I a "victim?"  No.  A tax donkey, but I work because I have to.

Those young people make the same choice I do.  They are placed in this sorry position because the government applied lots of violence to them.  But they do what they need to do to be free.

I support that, although I would never patronize an underage sex worker.  I support their right to choose.

Calling it "trafficking" is a government device to justify more brutality, more cages, more cops, more lawyers, more government "services" delivered with fists and boots.

Maggie Mcneill has documented the sex trafficking hysteria.  Her blog is essential reading for anyone who wants to know a bit of truth about sex trafficking.  Today's entry is about trafficking bullshit.  Her index entry (she was a librarian before she became a sex worker) for sex trafficking hysteria contains literally hundreds of news items, articles, de-bunkings, analyses, Q&A, videos, and interviews with people who actually know something.

If Mouse wants to post government propaganda about a bullshit hysteria she is welcome to do so.  In this place, those who care to learn will quickly find what an absurd farce is taking place.

Peace,

Silver

Maggie McNeill links a nice analysis of the latest chapter in the sex trafficking hysteria, a movie called "Abduction of Eden."

Quote
Does it matter when popular stories about “sex trafficking” are based on half-truths, junk science, and/or religious beliefs?…it is critical that we face the consequences of stories told in the name of rescuing girls and women…many individuals still derive most of their knowledge about human trafficking from sensationalistic media stories about so-called “sex trafficking….Hollywood action-adventure characterizations of victims and villains are deployed; complex structural problems are squeezed into personal morality tales; and the stories are then used by anti-sex work politicians and activists to justify heightened forms of criminal punishment.  While the stories may have popular appeal, evidence suggests that more criminalization actually hurts all sex workers across the continuum of privilege and oppression…
