Good morning Mr Toastmaster and fellow Toastmasters,
I'm here today to speak with you about why Extraterrestrial Contact matters. As an exopolitician, this question is the most common question I encounter from laymen in the field. Extraterrestrial Contact matters because of all the issues, which drive the questions, events and evolution of our world today, this is the most influential. It is important to every person within this nation because our ability to self-govern as a Republic is hand-tied if we are uninformed about the existence of this profound influence. This in turn has a profound effect on our definition of who we are as a people, both individually and collectively.
Consider: You are now a character in the last book you read. Who are you?
Since the public, which must give consent to govern, will be unable to recognize and responsibly respond to dialog and events related to the contact paradigm, it misses out on the importance of pieces of information which are a result of the actions and reactions of those who are informed.
For example, most people have no idea that on January 14, 2014 history was made. What the public missed, on the 14th, was a public confirmation ofdeclaration that U.S. Domestic and International Policy is driven by 'an alien/extraterrestrial intelligence agenda'.i It would have been more fully noticed and understood if the public at large had been present to know ET had passed a message to the Powers That Be (PTB) in 2008 through an inter-service group communicating the following message, “You are not allowed to reduce the population using weapons of mass destruction.”ii
We are a Republic! It is the consent of the governed provided to elected officials which is to conduct the business of this nation, yet the pink elephant beneath grandma's skirt, has spawned a 2nd form of government, known in exopolitics asShadow Government, consisting in-part of inter-relational influence by 50 of the globe's most financially endowed corporations. The public facing the greatest rise in questions over individual and governmental conduct since 1775, understands that there are many problems conventionally, but since they are uninformed, they have no means to evaluate if they are equipped to address questions pertaining to individual and government conduct related in any fashion to extraterrestrial contact regardless of if the conduct in question is originating from the common system or the shadow system.
For instance, someone who is uninformed would not understand the implications of the following quote, “Armageddon draws nigh. It is presaged by the cauldron of post modernism. There are two possibilities, 1. Physical Armageddon or 2. Metaphysical Armageddon” Dan Smith, physicist; Virginia January 28, 2014; Open Minds Forum; remarks on a pending paradigm event believing it will take some catastrophic form due to the current intellectual and spiritual condition of the people of this planet.
Headlines are passed over because the public is unable to recognize the relation to be seen, as with the following: “Watch Obama's Mentor Confronted on his 'Re-Education Camps'.” Bill Ayers, Weather Underground, or the equally enigmatic headline, FEMA soliciting companies for “Motor coach evacuation of general population.”iii
This unnatural truth embargo operating in our midst strips from America her ability to evaluate policy, ethics, and moral presentation in all acts and dialog. It stripped from America her ability to recognize the historic series of events which occurred this month.
Had that embargo not been in place, the population which still believes it is self-governing would have seen the following pattern:

So. Why does extraterrestrial contact matter? What is that character in that proverbial book? Who are we? These questions, and so many others about our current human condition, plague us and it is of utmost import because the question of who we are as a people is tied up within it. We define ourselves as self-governing, yet everything about extraterrestrial contact as a covert influencestrips from us our ability to give or withhold consent to govern. It strips from us our ability to recognize events, influences, and patterns of conduct. It strips from us control over policy and laws. In this state of ambiguity it allows corruption to run rampant, and hands off control of our nation to people we barely understand and events we hear nothing about or do not recognize as significant.
In attending to the subject of extraterrestrial contact, we return to ourselves a small measure of meaningful comprehension with which to work toward governing ourselves once more. This is why it matters. In recognizing it matters we once again have the ability to define who we are as a people and re-take from the corrupt brokers of power the ability to wholly write our own story - for us, by us.
I have come to suspect, this restoration of power or empowerment was a part of the reason ET said, “Disclose to your people, or we will.” In a time when we stand upon the brink of completing the construction of a global governance, not of the people nor for the people, I can only imagine what consternation our inherent corruption, deceit within governance, and self-illusions creates in the Greater Community. The questions of our time and the evolution of our self-understanding matters; is meaningful because they are steps toward a more mature presentation of our selves as a people coming forward into a universe – as a world making a debut.
