It's meant to be humorous, Mama. :)

Oh, OK.   Please remember that I see things very literally. I try hard to look beyond that, but emoticons help a lot. :)

Sunny and warm with a breeze. I went out and practiced broadsword, spear, and Iai for about an hour in my backyard. It was wonderful.

Getting there ...

2015 electricity Account Summary:

"In 2015, your account purchases totaled $835.00, or an average of $70 a month."

[2014 was $797.00 but I wimped out in 2015 and turned on the heat more than once]

Just like the cold, you get used to the heat - although it's not hot now.  90o here feels like 75-80o or so in the Midwest.  Still chilly now at 57o

Well this is a nice snow storm we are having.

got about 12 inches at the house. it seams that since there is no school, they are waiting to plow the streets here.
going to snow the rest of the day, will see how deep it gets.

Forecast called for rain/snow overnight, but we didn't get more than a sprinkle. Supposed to be 90% "chance" today, before 9AM, but so far we have nothing. May get windy. Temp above freezing all night. I'm liking that part. :) No need to run the heaters.

30F this morning in southern Vermont. Forecast for partly sunny day with high of 58F.

Even warmer the next two days, as rain moves in and falls. Highs near 70F. Lows above freezing.

Sharply colder after the front moves through, with lows in the teens, highs just above freezing, and possibly some snow.

Sunny with a high of 42F for my 60th birthday next Wednesday (not that the tea leaves can predict that far in advance).

Forecast: 3-5 inches last night, 5-8 inches today, and 1+ for tomorrow.

Already looking at 4+ now, roads are closed and not looking good for travel across the I80 corridor

I think there was a drop of rain on my head this morning when I went out to shoot. And I saw A snowflake just now when I came in...

Lots of clouds, 43 degrees, a light wind... but no rain or snow. :(

Well we got about 12 inches last night, about another 6 today.
I-25 east of Casper is closed. as is a number of state highways here and south.
I see I-80 is all closed down,
not much wind today.
more snow tonight, but temps this weekend to be in the 60's
so it should not last long.

I remember April blizzards in Cheyenne back in the 60s and early 70s. School closed. Lots of fun.

Some things to remember:
Wyoming snow is dry, usually, not wet and heavy like that around the big lakes. Makes a difference. Humidity is generally low too.
Wyoming is part of the great American desert. Some parts don't get much snow at all. :) We got ONE flake yesterday, far as I could tell. sigh
This has been a very unusual winter, even for Wyoming. The first winter I was here, we got several feet of snow from one storm... just that once, but it was a real surprise after Southern California! LOL
