Hey Diablo, how deep is it there?
About 14" so far (since late Sat night). I snowblowed the driveway about 4 hours ago. We've gotten 4 fresh inches since then. :shakehead: The minions had no school today, and tomorrow doesn't look good either. Of course, I worked. Had to drive 45 miles each way in some pretty crappy conditions. I don't think that I broke 40mph either way. Meh.....It is what it is. I'm used to it. :dontknow:

Our half inch of snow is gone, and it looks as if we'll have another mild week. Everything is so dry... praying for lots more snow.

friggin' cold!  69oF inside - winter visitors (from Midwest/Canada) walking around in shorts and flip-flops.  Had to delay a patient transport to the high country due to snow/rain.  No guardrails and 5000+ feet on unimproved road [ok, I'm exaggerating - it wasn't that bad - but I don't want to be lead video on the local news being airlifted in a basket stretcher from an overturned wheelchair van in a canyon]

Approx. 4000 ft and 5500 ft:

hehehe  lowest point around here is 5000ft. most if not all secondary roads are unimproved roads.

Casper Mountain has over 40 inches of snow as does the Tetons.
The skiers are happy
only about a inch here in Casper, but the wind is wicked right now, 40mph with gusts to 65mph

It was 5 degrees outside when I got up at 3 this morning. Gradually dropped, and now at 7:15 AM it is 1 degree... supposed to go down to -4 by tomorrow morning. Bet it dips lower than that.  A little more snow yesterday, but not much - and none this morning. "Warming" trend starting around Thursday.

Today
Scattered flurries before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 11. Wind chill values between -3 and -11. Northwest wind around 11 mph, with gusts as high as 17 mph.
Tonight
Partly cloudy, with a low around -4. Wind chill values between -8 and -18. North wind 7 to 9 mph.
Wednesday
Partly sunny, with a high near 5. Wind chill values between -10 and -20. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph.
Wednesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around -8. Wind chill values between -15 and -21. North wind around 8 mph.
Thursday
Sunny, with a high near 10. North wind around 6 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Thursday Night
Partly cloudy, with a temperature falling to near 1 by 8pm, then rising to around 8 during the remainder of the night. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph.

I TOLD you it was too cold/windy/snowy there. But would you listen? Nooooo

12 degrees here this morning at 4AM, now has gone down to 5 at 7AM....  predicted high of 8, but I bet we do better than that. Hope so, since I need to go to town. Don't usually go unless the temp is higher than 10.  May have to make an exception. :)

I understand, really. Here is much better than Southern California... no matter what the temperature might be. :)
