It was better than I expected. Which isn't saying much.
There was a time, maybe 10-20 yrs ago, when The Economist
was mostly centrist-libertarian-ish in its bias (except for a Euro-obligatory anti-gun stance, a perverse love of banks, and a need to make fun of France regularly). Nowadays they're more like technocrats, without any principles except economic growth. I'll probably let my subscription expire.
