Holy poop! I wasn't trying to entrap you. I know nothing about the legal workings of an LLC. Zip. Nada. Chill out Elias. No need to attack. A simple explanation as to why cash wouldn't fly would have been sufficient and accepted with no further questions.

FYI, I have been the ONLY one here on TMM posting updates to the members and asking you questions about your projects.

As seen here- https://secure.thementalmilitia.com/forums/index.php?topic=34707.0

I'm trying to show support. If you don't like the way I have been doing it, just say so and I'll stop.

As to the new website, when do you think all the bugs will be worked out. Right now, it's kinda difficult to navigate. At least for me it is. Also, I signed up for the email thing but haven't received anything as of yet.

For the trailer- I was wondering if the actual movie will have some accurate subtitles? I have a hard time understanding Ernie's speech. Maybe it's just me? :dontknow: Perhaps I'm just not used to hearing the accent from that area.

EDIT- Other than your direct link to Ernie's page in your first post, how can you get to it from the site? I can't seem to find a way to navigate to it.

Yes, and a simple adherence to the topic would have foregone any need to ask about cash in the first place. I am chilled out, and I'm not attacking you, just requesting that we all pay attention to keeping on topic with threads here. As you can see, that one comment you made side-tracked the purpose of the thread. I am trying to launch a very powerful organization and the time is right to do this. I've spent thousands of dollars while doing without to try to get this operation off the ground. I'm broke, hungry, out of gas money for the next three weeks, but all I need is for members here who want to see this organization grow into a powerful tool for freedom help me finance the costs. For you to come up with a question about sending cash casts an instant red flag for whichever government trolls are monitoring this place, and I'm sure that had you thought about that more deeply you would have known not to bring that up. My diatribe was actually directed to the whole board, however, not just to you. I was hoping to see replies from people who had gone to the ernie page, viewed the trailer and/or read the page, and have something constructive to offer. I was also hoping to generate some donations, which thusfar have not been seen. I need to raise several hundred dollars pronto, and the pressure is real for me here. I was hoping that people would catch the vision, but it is my fault that they have not yet grasped that vision and felt the excitement which it generates when seen. Dude, I've spent about a year dealing with lots of people outside TMM's forums, preparing a website, discussing what can be done, how to use the new site, and technical details, software details, financial transaction details, legal details, public relations details, advertising details, membership details, etc etc etc. Maybe that is why I got "blunt" with you. I am not angry with you, and I appreciate your good work here. But the most central reason I got blunt has to do with my sensing of a trap your comment was creating. I'll repeat -- I'm not stupid. I've been in the trenches as editor for Oath Keepers for a long time. I've seen it all, and I've seen the handiwork of provocatures, who are famous for enticing people to incriminate themselves on public forums or media outlets. I, personally, am under heavy federal scrutiny. This place will be kept clean. Thank you for understanding.

I appreciate what you've been doing, so please do carry on. You can be relaxed with me and enjoy yourself here. I am aware that you and Cyrellys communicate, so I'll offer you a little peace gift --

That is Cyrellys and self watching G. Edward Griffin autograph Cy's copy of The Creature From Jekyll Island, at Three Forks, Montana, the Sacajawea Hotel, Sunday March 13, 2016. Cyrellys is an associate editor at The Mental Militia's new national website.

As to the new website, when do you think all the bugs will be worked out. Right now, it's kinda difficult to navigate. At least for me it is. Also, I signed up for the email thing but haven't received anything as of yet.

There is much to do with the site, as you've already seen. It is not ready, but I'm at the point where I need help, and I was hoping that the membership of this forum would want to help me raise money to get it done. I'm also aware that the movie trailer is in need of touching up, but I'm out of bucks with which to pay the dudes in California who are doing the video-editing work. I'm figuring that since I at least have something to show, the insiders here at the forums might want to pitch in and help me get it done. Hence my sending people to the site before it's even ready.

Regarding your registration for the emails, you will want to go back there and sign up again, as we've done some changes to the email service we'll be using and I'm guessing that your email address has been lost. I apologize for that. Additionally, I have not sent out any emails yet. That will be happening within a few weeks or less. We will be sending one weekly email to all who sign up for our list, and for dues-paying members we'll send one monthly newsletter. But right now we do not even have the membership system set up. That is one thing I'll be working on tonight. It's taken quite a bit of time to just get the payment buttons on ernie's page wired into our bank account, but I think the memberships thingy can happen very shortly. At that time I will send to the forums here an announcement, and will also send to my personal email lists, from which I feel a goodly amount of support will respond.

Interesting observation. Thank you for bringing that up. I have not considered that yet, but since you mention it I'll run that by my staff and gather a consensus on that, and let you know what we decide. Thanks for bringing it up.

EDIT- Other than your direct link to Ernie's page in your first post, how can you get to it from the site? I can't seem to find a way to navigate to it.

The "ernie" page is not connected to the site, even though it's on the site. To get to it, one would need the link --

https://thementalmilitia.net/ernie/

I will of course link it to the site very soon, but first I need to get the membership system put in place.
Also, Diablo Loco, in coming weeks the navigation will become much more easy to use. Thank you for going to the site and looking around. Within the next day or two I'll collect up a bunch of links and make a new thread to announce to our members here a guide for finding various sections of the site. Meanwhile, I'm buried under one fine load of writing to do for the site.

Salute!

I try my best NOT to be serious. I consider the universe to be a cosmic practical joke, largely in very bad taste. I try to inject some tasteful humor into it, with occasional silliness.

I watched the video at https://thementalmilitia.net/ernie/. Here are my comments.

The maximum quality available was 360P. That was pretty grainy at full-screen on my 27" iMac. It would be lovely to have at least 720P, or 1080P.

Loved the horses, and other stills of Montana.

The singing behind the Blackstone quote made it hard to read. It would be better to have music without lyrics there.

I missed a story about exactly what was happening in the "arrest for fishing" dashcam video. A text overlay of a still of the beginning of the video would be nice. But I see that there is more information in the text below the video.

I've previously seen the clips of Ernie talking about the importance of a farm life and raising his voice to the lady judge, causing her to leave the courtroom. They are good ones.

I had no problem understanding Ernie's speech. Much easier than the Indians (from India) I hang out with, and whose speech I've learned to understand. Maybe my youth in Wyoming helped, too.

After watching the video, I almost neglected to read the text. That would have been a mistake. The background information was very good to know.

Love the idea of injecting humor into a vast, indifferent universe. We could use more humor, that's for sure.

Bill, I'll send that to Adam and Greg, and maybe to James Jaeger, who also wants to help with this movie.

Yes, that music and also the picture behind the wording from Blackstone has to be changed as the next step toward perfecting the trailer. I've got a small list here of similar errors to get the guys on for correction. And yes, Montana is an awesome place for those who love natural beauty in mountainous country.

Bill, we have the entire footage from when the squad car pulled up to the pond where ernie was fishing, all the way through to when they drove him to town in handcuffs. In the full movie we will reveal some very interesting footage from that dash-cam footage.  In a nutshell, the two Fish, Parks, and Wildlife agents had first attempted to make ernie show them his identification and he refused. They wanted to see a fishing license, and he refused. When they kept after the matter with him, he shut up and kept on fishing. They called the Three Forks police, who sent the squad car out there and trained the camera on ernie. Into that field of focus walked the cop and the two FWP goons who just had to know if ernie was "legal" to fish, had a license. I'll leave some of the better stuff from the dash-cam footage for the full movie, but I can assure you that there is an exciting climax to his arrest there after the thugs put ernie on the ground and handcuffed him. He refused to cooperate with them, sat down on the ground, and forced them to literally carry him to the squad car -- and *that* is a scene worth making the whole movie, just to show that. You mentioned humor above --  that scene will evoke big smiles if not outright laughter.
We are wanting to reveal the true vision ernie lives by. The media in Montana has been hard on him, and this movie will expose much of their mischief. I have lots of footage. The two dudes in California who are putting this together for me, (Adam and Greg), exclaim that I've dropped "pure gold" in their laps with all the footage I've sent them. And I've got much more that they have not even seen.

Good to know that you had no trouble understanding ernie's speech. Diablo Loco will probably hear it better the next time he views it.

Bill, thank you for taking time to view it and also to read the text. I appreciate your input and will share your thoughts with Adam and Greg and a few others on the staff for the movie.

I have a quick question for you, Elias. What kind of items will be sold in the "store" other than the films?

Also, not to cause a thread drift, but since you mentioned her, please encourage Cy to stop by here once in a while. I know that she is busy, but I miss chatting with her. She has a very unique way of seeing things. It's quite refreshing.

Thx.

About the store, we'll be adding the other films by James Jaeger, who is shipping some to me now. I've got a graphics dude in California doing bumper-stickers and window decals. I'd like to sell berets with our logo on them.  We can adapt our artwork in many ways, but site content is more important right now, so we'll up our inventory as we get caught up on loading the site. One idea I've had is to produce a line of jewelry items, such as pins and earrings and pendants and fingerrings (signet style), using graphics such as this (which we will also have in a "Male" version. There are other art designs in the works too, at present.)

There you see Innocent Awareness in the crosshairs of statist collectivism, yes? ;)
But we will load the store as we can. I have talked with Edwin Vieira about carrying his books, and will carry Patrick Wood's "Technocracy Rising". We also are working up an Amazon affiliate account. We will be selling gun stuff and armor and some tactical stuff. I intend to work with Ammoland and another company out of Pennsylvania. There are a lot of potential markets, and a lot of sources to serve those markets, and I think that a web operation that is bringing together cutting-edge authorities on all facets of liberty, from Mike Adams at Natural News (the Health Ranger) to Michael Shaw at Freedom Advocates (anti-Agenda 21 specialist), will have opportunity to carry a lot of different things. One example. I've recently posted an article for Sam Culper of Forward Observer Magazine. He liked it and offered Oath Keepers members a discount on their purchases from his store. Links:

https://www.oathkeepers.org/sam-culper-and-forward-observer-magazine/

https://readfomag.com/

Sam will most likely be happy to do a banner exchange with our site. There are many others.

You can see that everything I'm trying to do costs bucks, hence my calling for help before the site is even ready. That is why I did not link the "ernie" page to the site's directory yet. Maybe tomorrow. But I'm also fighting to get the new changes done on the trailer and replace existing trailer with newer version, considering in there some of the points you suggested, and those others have sent me. I'm willing to stick my neck out because I've at least got a "start" to show for the effort, to show people what I'm trying to do, and ask for donations on that basis.

About Cyrellys, she is buried as much as I am, so cannot speak for her, but I'm sure she will be around if I can get the site launched well and draw traffic. Cy has several groups of her own in tow, and some of them are very good fits for TMM's forums. They just need to see what we're doing here and they'll show up. She runs with bright minds. Cy is also doing a regular co-host gig on a radio show and trying to write books. I'll tell her you've noticed she's not here lately. She did enjoy talking with you, so maybe you can lure her back, eh?

Elias, I think it is a great trailer for your project !
I can't wait to see it now. It is set in a beautiful atmosphere in Big Sky Country and what a wonderful character and topic, on our Freedoms and Liberty.
For me, it has all the ingredients of a winning project.

It reminds me of the film, "A River Runs Through it, " also in Montana, but about fishing. How about...
"Freedom Runs Through It" ? That's is a more interesting and timely topic then fishing if you ask me, I love your idea, Love it !!! I am NOT necessarily saying you should use that for the title, only saying the basic premies is wonderful.
I am not a "computer geek" but I've been  around technology in my time, instead by paying others to edit this film, you could do it your self on a "Mac" computer with the programs Apple has available.
Also, the cameras used today are just Cannon or Nikon SLR cameras that record to flash drives in video in HD. They have camera rental equipment houses where one could rent the stuff you need.
Also they have these holders that stabilize the camera when you hold them in your hand, called "steady cams," that make beautiful handheld camera shots in motion.
I wish you much success on this project Elias, I am Ol' Rono at Oath Keepers, if you need me I am glad to help you any way I can.

Howdy Ol' Rono, er, I mean, "A Patriot";
It's great to see you here. Thank you for registering. I'm encouraged by your glowing report on the trailer.

Yeah, I've seen A River Runs Through It. The premise for this movie is just as you see it -- Freedom, at the personal level. ernie shows us how one man is making his stand for freedom by speaking out against the corrupt court system.  He is a very remarkable man, and a close friend for about six or seven years, and, fortunately, he took a liking to me when we met and has over the years given me quite a stack of handwritten studies and notes, letters and essays. Additionally I've collected up quite a library of raw footage shot by various other friends and a few whom I do not know but found on the Internet. I'[ve also got the entire (Three Forks, Montana, Police Department) squad car dash-cam footage of his arrest whilst fishing, and some of the scenes in that arrest video will greatly excite viewers, especially when the officers are carrying him to the police car. I've got the footage of his event in Livingston, Montana, which happened prior to his event in the Three Forks court, and much other footage I've shot over recent years. So I've got everything needed to make a movie depicting the reality of ernie's life, as opposed to what the press and news stations portray. This is, however, not happening as quickly as I'd prefer, as I started this project well back into last year. Dang!

Quote

Yup. One of the videographers I use locally here in Montana uses a Mac with very sophisticated software and he's amazing to watch. That would be Jason Van Tatenhove, media director for Oath Keepers. However, my guys in Los Angeles also have that capability and they are very excited to get this movie done. They think it can go places, and I do too.

Quote

That is a good suggestion, and I'll keep it in mind. However, I am trying to raise money to buy a strong camera in the seven hundred dollar range -- and a new laptop dedicated to just that sort of work.  My guys in California are planning to bring their basic "portable" studio up to Montana to interview ernie in his natural habitat, but I'd like to -- no, make that read, "need to" -- have my own camera here on the spot because from tiem to time ernie and I get into some very interesting conversations, some of which need to be recorded for sure. The dude is a trip, I tell you. I had a good camera for about five years, but it went bonkers and I've not been able to afford a replacement for it in over a year. My hope is that the financing of this movie will cover costs of some upgrades in my office and video gear, so I can do more. I think that the funding will be there if I can just get the new website's money-transfer system to work. Soon as I get that squared away I'm going to take the site public.

Quote

Did not know about that, so thank you for mentioning it. I'll put that on my wish list also. ;)

Thank you muchly, Ol' Rono. You can help by spreading the word about this place, the new site which will launch shortly, and the movie trailer on ernie's page. Thank you again for signing up here. I hope you enjoy each visit to the forums. And in case you are not aware, you now are a member in the very forum system which first hosted Oath Keepers, back before even our first muster at Lexington Green in April 19 2009. Just scroll down the forums listing on the home page here and you'll see it.
One last thought -- also go to the history page at TMM dot net -- https://thementalmilitia.net/2015/12/12/history-of-the-mental-militia/
