The personification of the overused legend tag. Some of his songs have more covers than House of the Rising Sun  :rolleyes:

I heard and will miss his voice on the radio.
He really lived a lot of his songs. Okie excepted.

When I heard I was driving and said out loud Rest well Merle ya done good.
So now I've said it twice.
Is there a link to any particular site about his passing? I can't do videos much as I might want to do them. Broadband issues. sigh
