Noah, who lived over 600 years

In 600 years he didn't think to pen a note sharing where he left the arc?

I can appreciate the humorous jabs at the scriptures as there are many holes, but I can personally assure you there is a higher being and life after death. I know,  I know, I'm just another guy who makes the claims without the definitive evidence. I can only tell you,  I've personally witnessed the definitive evidence, as many others have. I can't answer why everyone does not have these experiences.I only have my experience as proof. Then again,  there is enough proof before all of us if we know how to look at it. It's somewhat frustrating to know a truth I can't prove. It feels a lot like being called a conspiracy nut job when you're actually a conspiracy realist.

And what gave God the authority to tell Eve what she could not eat? He gave her free will, and then he tried to thwart it with arbitrary rules. Make up your mind, you not-quite-supreme Being, you. :)

God's intention is to test our resolve in finding our way back to him. Rather than forcing his will, He sets the parameters and punishments, and turns you loose. If you screw up, you pay the price. If you get it right, you reap the reward. One could argue that is still forcing his will, but He is giving each of us the opportunity to choose purity over evil. In His realm, evil is not an option.  If He ruled with an iron fist, your options would be revoked and your bacon fried. Sounds to me like He is extremely patient and loving to offer us so many chances to get it right instead of hammering us to the cross without hesitation. It's so much easier to reject than to understand. Ask anyone who has had a near death experience. I promise you, God does exist, and He loves you. He wants to reward you. His message makes it clear that He wants all to return to Him, but those who cannot live their lives for Him and those who reject Him, will not be allowed to return home. It's an easy concept, but a difficult task.

I think that a bunch more will understand in the next 7-10 years.

I see it as this, if you can not laugh at yourself and have a little fun with it, then you are the problem.

It is good that you believe in it. and others may come to believe in it later.

but we do not know the whys and wherefores about what has happen, but from what is written down already, in fact no one can know for sure.

that is why it is called "Faith"

I think that we know how the book ends .. . . . and what will happen towards that end.  I just feel that it is near cuz most of the trumpets have sounded.

I'm glad. I wasn't trying to bother you. Just being my usual snarky self. Letting my thoughts be known without really saying them. :threvil:

If you want to know the why's and wherefores, "ask and you shall receive".

Much of my faith comes from a near death experience. There was nothing funny about it.

I can laugh at myself,  but I cannot laugh at or make a mockery of God.

I would rather YOU see me as the problem.
