Right... NSA will be dismantled tomorrow and all the phone taps and key loggers will be disabled and taken down too.

I know, I know... even a little back peddling is good, but this seems like a very small part of the picture. Will be interesting to see how it plays out, or if it is mostly ignored.

My guess is that it will be mostly ignored (by TPTB). The cat is already out of the bag. Tying the bag now, is just a way to placate the masses and lull them back to sleep.

I believe the important point is that STATES, not just individuals, are beginning to assert their Constitutional rights. It's a form of Nullification. It is also important to remember that most arrests and searches are by State or local police, not national cops. At least a few states are trying to maintain the right of privacy of their citizens.

No, it will not stop NSA but just like Constitutional Carry, it is a State by State step towards freedom. Little steps can add up to great leaps forward and it is important to herald these small measures because they symbolize that some States recognize what the battle is about.

This will stop, if passed, state and local searches of their citizens electronics and would not allow evidence gathered by national entities to be introduced into state courts.. It is a measure to WAKE UP, the citizens, not lull them to sleep.

As the article stated, it passed the house 107 to 1.
