Matthew Bracken: Piss Christ? Piss Koran!
« on: June 20, 2016, 06:45:06 pm »

I'm no fan of Muslim bashing, but Matthew Bracken has penned an exciting short story about a retired iron worker who carries out a unique, and peaceful protest for the opening of a Manhattan "Piss Christ" art exhibit. Well, peaceful unless you consider threatening to soak a copy of the Koran in alleged piss (actually apple juice) to be a violent act. No more violent in my opinion than burning a flag. Free speech. As is the "Piss Christ" exhibit.

Bill,  I don't know if that was actually Muslim bashing or an educational lesson but it was sure dang fine reading and an interesting "non-violent" method of protesting. Thanks for posting it.
