What I strive to do as much as possible is to 'buy local'. There are a handful of hardware stores in my neck of the woods that are full of great people trying to squeak out a living. I frequent their brick and mortar stores as much as possible. I even refused to use Amazon for any Christmas gift purchasing this year.
Outstanding game-plan, knobster. Local is best, for sure. That is a great way to build friendships which later can open doors to more deep conversations about liberty-related topics. It also is a great way to undo much of the globalist mischief, which of course wants us all to be estranged from our good neighbors.
There is a spiritual value one receives when one is willing to pay a bit more to support local businesses, especially "mom-and-pop" businesses.
Happy New Year!
