I don't want any, and so will never support or encourage any such choice. Seems simple enough to me.  I'm wondering if at least some of the millions who did not "vote" either might think the same way. :)

I don't think that's what is going through their minds. I think it's more like my "Yugo Theory".

You can have a BLUE 1987 Yugo, or a RED 1987 Yugo. The choice is yours, but either way you're still getting the same P.O.S. .

More and more people are realizing that voting is a fruitless endeavor, because it doesn't matter what they call themselves or what "color" they are, either way you're screwed. I don't think that it has anything at all to do with not wanting a "leader". Not yet, anyways. Many people felt that maybe Trump will be different. They're wrong.

almost nobody understands that.
.................or maybe doesn't agree
or can delineate between ideal and pragmatic

Your choice, your business, of course. I see no benefit in "pragmatism."  Do you drink dirty water because that's what is available? Or do you diligently search for clean water??
I'd just run it through the Berkey. :threvil:

Is it just me, or has manufacturing been a bit shoddy on the berkeys as of late?  I'm noticing a lot of leakage in most of my filters, new and old around the mounting cup and filter element.  Also noticing that the fluoride and arsenic isotope filters are starting to go up in price, just a tad bit.  Considering splurging for a reverse osmosis filter at some point.

Due to the system of Gov( over the People...) you are going to get a president. The hard part is getting the one who, if not doing something for you, will at least not do anything (more?) to you. Beware the newly risen demi-gods.

I have heard that from others as well. I've also heard that silicone is a good fix to the problem. So far, mine have been fine.
