all because I was 3 miles over the limit.
You got pulled over for 3 mph over the limit?!? That's crazy. That doesn't even happen here in the "Vampire State". Not even in a school zone. I can't believe that 3 mph over gets you harassed by the pigs in Wyoming.

See the part where I said he was from Cali.

and the only reason the Sgt showed up, was that I had stop talking and was just standing there, not saying a word.

It's pretty well publicised in the fall that they're going to get hard nosed about school zones. Zero tolerance worked great in the drug war........right?
After all, you wouldn't want to run down one of the little miscreants darlings while they were sexting or playing Pokeman Blow, would you and who better to watch out For The Children than someone from Fornicalia?

While on the surface, this sounds like a good move.

people are forgetting that if the LEO's in your area do not like it, or want it, they will harass you for it.
Had a little of this here in Casper.

Again the LEO's think they are above the law, and it all depends on what they think it should be, and how it is going to be.

good luck with it.

YMMV

Dawg

any details you can provide?
What details?

about how the Police harass people that open carry?

just had a new cop from Cali. harass me for open carrying.
it seam he did not care that it was OK to do in Wyoming.
He thought it should not be ok to do.
Said it made his job more difficult, like I really care how hard he makes his job.

anyway after an hour of this BS, his Sgt. showed up, and set the LEO straight, and told me to go.
so I left these two talking about me.

all because I was 3 miles over the limit.

Thanks. What you provided was pretty much what I meant.

I did o/c  in Caspar and just remembered some disapproving looks. So I wanted to find out what happened as much as you cared to say.

Well it is a fact that more people put themselves in jail by talking than not talking.

Sure it does, I am on everyday!!

I've not been able to load the page for at least two weeks now. Wonder what's going on?

Edit:  Just tried it again. My browser was using https (as always)... got that out of the way. Then it said it needed java script and cookies (never did before), so I removed java block.  Page loaded saying the domain had expired and asking if I want to buy it. I give up.

I'm no exspurt, but I'm guessing that it's the same thing you have in place that's blocking Gold Coast's ads, is blocking the forum as well.
Try it on a library or compuker store machine.

I don't think so. Thanks anyway. If it won't load on my machine like everything else, I don't need it.

We have had "Constitutional Carry" here in Missouri for almost a month and it was great to go to town without the paranoid feeling I used to have. It is a step forward, thanks to all the people who worked for years on first "may issue", then "shall issue" and now no issue of permits required, unless you want to go  to other states that recognize Mo. permits.

It is just a step back towards true freedom but a breath of fresh, freedom air is in the wind.

It is a continuance forward, especially compared to where we were. Ten states now, forty more to go. Onward and upward.

I guess you choose to continue to misunderstand. I'm only saying that calling this "constitutional carry" is not accurate. In fact, it is seriously misleading.

Okay, here's the problem.  If the "law" doesn't recognize your "right" to have or do something, then that right is removable with the stroke of a pen and the faith of big strong goons and stupid supportive submitizens.

I'm all for putting stuff on the law books.  Baby steps.  Salami slicing.  Call it what you will.

On the upside, it does improve the quality of life, and edges the culture away from socialistic bullshit.  If you think you can do it by just "ignoring" it while it grows out of proportion, by all means, do so.  The rest of us are young and don't have nest eggs to hide behind.  We still need to LIVE and be out there, in the field, on the road, building those nest eggs.

No offense intended, old friend, but you should remember that hiding from evil doesn't destroy evil.

How does calling things what they are involve "hiding?"  Evil will be destroyed when people stop choosing evil. Not a minute before.
You know I don't give a shit about the "constitution" or what it allows or doesn't. But even that worthless thing says, "shall not be infringed." I only question how anyone can look at all the infringements there are, even in Vermont, and call that "constitutional."

People can fool themselves all they want, of course, and call it anything they wish. No skin off my nose.
