GOA-Backed Constitutional Carry Signed in North Dakota

On Thursday Governor Doug Burgum (R) signed legislation allowing North Dakota residents to carry a handgun concealed for self-defense without a permit.
The addition of New Hampshire and North Dakota brings the total number of permitless carry states to 14. The other 12 are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Vermont, Wyoming, and West Virginia.

Yeah, OK. Still filled with all the restrictions, no-nos and other completely un -constitutional stuff.

No help whatsoever if you are under the "legal age," or any other category of "prohibited" persons. They don't count, I guess.

I agree MamaLiberty but "Constitutional Carry" is the current phrase in use. I am totally thrilled to see it expanding at a rapid rate, even if not perfect.

Unfortunately, if people are content with this, they will not seek actual freedom I fear. But, whatever. I'm simply not prepared to be satisfied with it.

Nor am I MamaLiberty but it is a step towards true freedom and one which seemed impossible only a decade ago. Let us keep making steps forward.

Maybe. I didn't let the "law" stop me from CC a decade ago. I didn't wait for "permission," license or not. The latest "steps forward" were recently vetoed in Cheyenne... so much for that. As long as people continue to believe that the government, at any level, actually has that authority ... nothing significant will change in the long run.  When people say, "screw that" and act as free individuals, then things CAN change for the better. It happens all the time, of course. Funny how then governments decide to "allow" something, and tax it! Wow, they can really rake it in... except they don't, and that effort usually only drives people deeper into resistance. Oregon has set itself up as a poster child for this very thing. Now that's encouraging. :)
