End of QE
« on: October 10, 2017, 05:34:50 am »

"As this monumental scheme comes to a close, it will become clearer that the divided political environment, record high stock and bond valuations, and impending debt ceiling may create a recipe for the real threat — a loss of confidence."

Will this begin the slide into hyperinflation?

Thoughts?

From my layman's understanding, QE is completely insane.  Pumping trillions of 'newly created' money into the system to make sure the interest rates stayed low so people could go deeper and deeper into debt sounds like a very huge brick wall being built into the path of the speeding train this country is on.  I highly doubt QE will truly end (other than TEOTWAWKI coming).  If people start getting out of debt and living within their means then QE be damned.

Sounds like a plan

got rid of the credit cards, pay cash for everything, may make building slower, but I will be out of debt on my land.

IF... big if. Not likely with most of the people having been born and raised to believe they are entitled to what they "need," regardless of who is robbed or killed to get it. Or from whatever magic beans the government can come up with. A great many have no other "means" at all.
