Another round of this, I see. The "flu" vaccine is worthless at best, and a serious danger to children and elderly, or any with autoimmune problems. It actually weakens the immune system itself and does nothing to protect anyone from the "flu." A real shame.

I'm starting to see signs stating that flu shots are available year round!  Don't wait until the fall.  Get them early!  Get them often!

Thanks to ML and others on this forum I started digging a bit into the so called 'flu vaccine'.  Going on 5 years now that my family and I have not gotten the shot and, strangely enough, 5 years of no flu outbreak in our house!  Clean air, clean water, good food, plenty of exercise, hand washing and we're good to go.

I stopped getting the vaccine about 15 years ago.

no flu so far, no missed days at work.

but they still does not stop the Dr. from asking if I want one.

Wouldn't be surprised. I think that corporations, especially hospitals and so forth, get a nice kickback from the pharma people for these mandates. When I was working, the "shot" was seriously promoted, but not yet mandatory - but some hospitals had started that, along with the hepatitis vaccine. I could see the "mandatory" idea coming long before it hit.

The manager at the hospice was trying hard to get everyone to take the flu shot. I refused, and told her that I had never had the flu in my life, and wasn't about to mess that up.  I had taken the hepatitis shot in nursing school... and that's one I do recommend if you work with sick people, especially in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Or anything to do with street people. They have a very high risk of infection.

Our company does a huge "get yer shot" campaign every season.  Bring in medical folks, set up shop in the cafeteria, offer the shot 'free' to all employees.  Without fail, a few weeks to a month later all kinds of people are missing work due to illness.  I always joke with them afterwards.  "I thought you got the flu shot."  They think it strange they still got sick but always line up the next year for another one.  Sigh...
