Looks like TPTB have decided that 'bumpstocks' are now machine guns.  People have until late-March to either "turn in or destroy" these nefarious devices or risk 10 years in prison.

Too bad it fell in a lake after the tractor incident...a shame you cant show them the broken stock.

Nevermind that you can bump fire without the stock.  The stock just lets you get away with sloppy technique.

Also, bump firing is horrendously inaccurate, so while it may be fun, it's also a waste of ammo and training time.

also   damages   sear.....firing  pin   &   that   type   sustained   rate  of   fire  also   wears   out    chamber   &   barrel    like   long   repeated   strings   of    fire   with   REAL    machine   guns    like   7.62   M-60's.....   those   of    us   with   training   were   schooled   to   do   3   to   6   round   bursts....more    control   &   extends    barrel      life.....casca...the   old   grunt   in   the   woods...
