California to track every child in the state from birth
« on: August 03, 2019, 08:51:03 am »

"To address disparities in opportunities" - Now that's a pretty poor excuse.  I wonder what those words are "doublethink bureaucratise" for.  What they really mean.  California local government workers must think the average parent is really dumb to accept this.

California will now be tracking every child in the state from birth, and will share that data with politicians, analysts and activists in an alleged effort to “address disparities in opportunities and improve outcomes for all students.”
The new “Cradle to Career Data System” will collect personal data on ethnicity, economic status, education and other information through various state agencies, from schools to universities, childcare providers, state employment, health and human services programs. The state will then store it in a central location that bureaucrats, politicians and other “experts” can access to concoct new laws.

sounds like a good target for hackers to monkeywrench the system.

one problem, people that do home birth, homeschool, and do not work for the Government. that work for themselves.
and who says that you have to see a Doctor in the state?

I'm surprised that homeschooling has not been outlawed in California (or homebirth for that matter, or anything that avoids government intervention in peoples' lives).
